Take out recommend. Prompt friendly service. Prices are reasonable. Portions are a decent size. Food was very tastey. Typical Chinese take-out food selection. Restaurant was cleam and well lit.

We just moved into a new place and needed an easy dinner, so we ordered from China One for the first time. We ordered egg rolls (shrimp & pork), crab rangoon, boneless spare ribs, egg drop soup, pork lo mein, orange chicken, and beef & broccoli. The price was exactly what I expected to pay ($60), the portions are generous, the service was prompt & courteous both over the phone & when I picked it up.
When I walked into the restaurant to pick up the order it looked exactly as I’d hoped: old photos of classic Chinese American food on the walls above the register, faded decorations & furniture, a little counter cluttered with tchotchkes, take out menus,chopsticks, and condiments. We drove home and dug in immediately. The crab rangoon are the best I’ve ever had outside of my family’s favorite Chinese restaurant in Granite City Illinois. The beef & broccoli was delicious full of tender beef & perfectly cooked broccoli. The orange chicken isn’t orange in color and is absolutely bursting with fresh orange flavor. The egg rolls were tasty, the soup savory and warm. The only things we didn’t thoroughly enjoy were the boneless spare ribs and pork lo mein (still good but not what we were anticipating!). We have had the other Chinese restaurant in town and were not impressed. China One though? We will absolutely be regulars here.

I have lived in Fort Atkinson for 20 years and this is by far the best Chinese restaurant we’ve ever had. There’s only one place we have ever ordered from after we had tried every other Chinese restaurant and the area.I recommend anything you want to order and the prices are reasonable for the amount of food you get China one i hope you stay here forever.

I love the food here. It’s not traditional Chinese but it’s good regardless. The guy who runs the place is pretty good with remembering regulars plus he’s patient cause my wife is very picky on what she wants on her food and he usually gets it right now. Took a few times of going there but we got it sorted out in the end.

Honestly, it makes me really sad to lower my review of this place. We’ve absolutely loved ordering from them for years. Since this new guy has come on service and quality has really gone down hill. Seemingly only when he’s working though, it’s still great when the owner prepares the food. The other guy made us nearly raw crab rangoon and very over cooked rice. He’s also incredibly impatient and rude. Very unprofessional. After 4 or 5 negative encounters this last one was the worst. He literally answered “hello?” which prompted us to ask if we called the right number. He then told my husband to order faster.
Hopefully at some point we can be customers again when that employee no longer works there.

With a small town like Fort Atkinson it’s somewhat unreasonable to expect a place of this value and service.
They’ve always been great to me and my family. Good food, good prices, and good service. If you’re looking for what I’d call “Standard Americanized-Chinese Food” this is a place to go.
