Ive been to this place twice for takeout. My first time i couldn’t really rate the food because I was given the wrong order and didn’t realize until I got all the way home. I received a shrimp dish and I don’t eat shrimp. So it was a waste. I chalked it up to a communication break down and thought I’d give the place another try. I ordered the black pepper chicken dinner combo It was not good. The chicken sauce had barely any flavor even though it’s marked as one of their “spicy” items. I would have been happy with ANY flavor. I typically like this dish because of the crispier chicken coating. The coating on this was a tasteless soggy mess. The “chicken fried rice” was yellow colored mushy rice with some chicken in it and nothing else. Very basic and also flavorless. The only thing I even finished was the egg role which was just ok.
They state on their menu their the best Chinese in town. Well… there’s not much competition. The place by subway is even worse. So maybe they’re correct. The bar’s just not very high.

Rude staff. Save yourself from getting sick and treated like a burden and go to Cantonese East, significantly better.
My last experience with china moon was this, card reader wasnt working so used another card, he noticed I had cash and said just pay with cash its easier. I said no thanks I prefer to use a card, he then dropped by bag off food on the counter like a “mic drop”. Maybe a dash of tax evasion with such a strong desire for cash payments?

I’ve had this place before a few years ago and it wasn’t bad. This time the chicken tasted off it tasted like what a petting zoo smells like which is a sign of old oil or old chicken. I was willing to bring the food back for a refund but they stated they don’t offer refunds and could remake the food. I told him I didn’t feel comfortable getting the food remade considering something was off. The guy on the phone was rude and said that “it either gets remade or never come back” like thanks sir, I wasn’t planning on it especially with the “great” costumer service. I’ve never had an issue getting orders from there when doordashing for people, they’ve always been nice. But it seems like the treat people not nicely when they want a refund. Why would anyone want it remade when something is wrong with the chicken or the oil?

First time ordering from them the chicken fried rice smells and taste like its been left out for a while and taste like it went bad the chicken in it is hard no good in my opinion no taste they where friendly tho. Update so I called today about the issues with the rice and on top of that be careful eating the chicken I choked on a bone he told me to come get a refund and never come back so I brought the food up and got my refund first and last time going

Almond Boneless chicken is so tasty and fresh, their almond sauce is the best! Food here is good, everyone is nice. Only downfall is the raised prices, crab cheese is now $5.75 for 6, so essentially you’re paying $1 per crab cheese. They’re good, but not for $1 a piece. $40 for 2 combo’s and 3 orders of crab cheese.

I’m pretty sure I got Uncle Ben’s 90sec rice with my sesame chicken it definitely was not fried rice I didn’t particularly like chicken either the flavor was off . As for service they were good polite just not what I was expecting for the food

China moon located on Vienna rd in clio, visited this chinese restaurant for the first time today. The environment was.. ok, a couple chinese photos with some asian decor hanging from the ceiling. The staff were polite.. but a little to engrossed in their phones while standing out in the open. Employees children running around the back, but weren’t a distraction and they were polite just as well. The service was really good, ordered my food and it was ready in less than 15 minutes, they even brought the food to our table for us. I ordered the orange chicken with shrimp fried rice and my wife ordered the general tso spicy chicken with white rice and two orders of crab rangoon. The orange chicken was pretty good nice and hot when I got it. The general tso chicken was really good also. The crab rangoon on the other hand, you could tell they were pre packaged items sitting in a freezer. Not really my liking, I didn’t eat my egg roll, it was soaked in oil and looked like something grabbed out of the meijers freezer section. Overall, my experience was pretty good. I would definitely wat there again, i just won’t order any crab rangoon or egg rolls again. If you’re in clio and looking for a nice sit down Chinese restaurant, china moon is a great place to go.

First time ordering from here and I’d suggest if you like things with flavor DO NOT order from here. Everything from the yellow rice down to the sweet and sour sauce is completely flavorless and bland.
