Went here on the recommendation of another local business and was not disappointed. The steamed dumplings were amazing both in taste and in presentation. Shrimp in lobster sauce didn’t even last long enough for me to get a taste. Vegetable Lo Men was a little dry for my personal taste but very delicious.

Food is awful and wayyyyy overpriced I literally had the worse coconut “chicken” ever. Chicken is in quotations because there wasn’t any. That’s not chicken. It’s fried breading. It’s like a funnel cake with with a can of coconut milk thrown on top. Dumplings are bland. Soup…soup was good and they did have fresh chives in it. Don’t waste your money.

I got a order of chicken and broccoli. When my husband ate it, he was stabbed on the roof of his mouth by a bone. I called and they said no way and the only thing they would do is if I bring the food back they will swap it. That’s ridiculous. They hurt him to the point it was bleeding. I don’t trust another one.

I’ve lived several places and you always need that local hole in the wall Chinese take out place. After trying a few after moving to Jim Thorpe, China Ming is not only the best in the area but one of the best I’ve ever had. The menu is standard but the food quality is just exceptional. I don’t know what they do differently, slightly different recipes or fresher ingredients but it’s far and above other places. It’s become a regular go to on nights no one feels like cooking.

I love this place! I always order mushrooms in garlic sauce combo. I ask for no onions in my rice and haven’t had a problem. Unlike other places when I ask for no onions and they’re always on my food anyways! Way better than the Chinese food place by Giant on 443!
