We came here because people said this was the best Chinese restaurant in Vegas. First and foremost, it’s difficult to try all of the signature dishes especially in a group. Most of the dishes we got, I personally wouldn’t have ordered them but I know Americans don’t like breaking routine. With that said, when you come here make sure you get on the waitlist immediately. We ordered Chinese broccoli, pork soup dumpling, mapo tofu, fish fillet with ginger and green onions, Mongolian beef, crispy pork with mama special sauce, and crispy duck.
The pork soup dumplings are decent but they’re nothing compared to Din Tai Fung. I did enjoy the signature crispy pork with mama special sauce. I liked the texture and the flavor. Very savory sauce. The mapo tofu, fish fillet, Mongolian beef, and crispy duck were very average. It’s about the same as back home, so nothing extraordinary. Prices are not bad because you do get a generous amount of food. Service was good, we were well taken care of. Overall 3 out of 5. Mostly average Chinese food with prices slightly more than usual.

Went here for breakfast. We got the giant fried dough and it was delicious. Not a lot of people were here for breakfast so it was quiet and nice. I recommend getting the century egg porridge, it was my favorite. We also go the pumpkin porridge and the Tofu pudding in chicken soup. It was a bit spicy but my mom loved it!

We asked for wonton soup which is fairly standard and most Chinese restaurants but they did not have it so we each ordered a different kind of soup.
Both of our soups came out at the same time along with one of the entrees.
I asked them to please take back the entree until we finished our soups.
As it turned out I had to tell them to take back the soups as they both were cold. Our server made a face of annoyance but they take them back and brought us hot soup which took a little while. I guess about the time I microwave would take to warm up the soups.
For our main dishes we had crispy duck an orange chicken.
Both dishes were at room temperature and we’re rather bland.
After all the videos by an influencer who raves about them I was totally disappointed and would not go back.
Oh one more thing.
The server added a tip for themselves which I felt was totally inappropriate.

I was recommended here by locals (such as Brandon in Vegas) and everyone insisted to try the Crispy Beef. Let me say, it is AMAZING. Super super thin crispy beef, the flavor at times reminds me of chicharrones very much. But then glazed in a super rich thick sauce.
The fried rice is top tier, classic but perfect.
Dan dan noodles had been on my list to try and they were very fun. A very soft doughy noodle, lots of great chili oil spice + peanut flavor and herbs.
Last, Pork Soup Dumplings. Not my favorite, some integrity issues with them leaking. But great flavor of broth and very tender pork inside.
OVERALL definitely on our rotation, looking forward to trying more dishes.

Atmosphere was nice. Summary for the TLDR Food was just okay, did not live up to any of the influencer hype, and would I go back, no. If any friends asked for a restaurant recommendation would I recommend going here, not really.
I’m a Vegas semi local who grew up in the San Gabriel valley, so we have great authentic Chinese food. I’ve always passed by seeing crowds and wanted to give it a try,
There are some yelp reviews that describe this as fancy panda express, and I would agree with the sentiment. As long as you go in with that expectation, you’ll be fine. If your expectation is authentic Chinese food, you’ll be disappointed.
The scallion pancake was flaccid, undercooked and the dough was still raw inside. We commented we could have gone across the street to 168, bought them from the frozen section and made them at home better.
The spicy wonton with peanuts, they laid the wontons on top of the chili oil it was flavorless as well.
The stir-fried pork with rice cakes were just basically reheated, there was no stir frying as the rice cakes didn’t have any of the caramelized crispy bite that you’d expect.
The soup dumplings were decent and I would go back these. They don’t seal the top so the do get a chance to cool off and not burn you or you can drink from the top.
The crispy sprimp with salted egg was tasty, I’d get these again, but I am doubtful the shrimp were fresh.
The fish with pickled vegetables was tasty and flavorful, this was a great dish.
The house special friend rice, overall was prepared well, but was bland and lacked flavor. It really was no better than using it as white rice for the other dishes.
The yellow cauliflower with salted pork was okay.

China mama never disappoints! They are constantly at every location with consistent taste and service! My favorite is the crisp beef! I’ve been to 3 of their locations and the same hospitality! This is my favorite Chinese food in Vegas!

Ordered pot stickers, crispy beef, dumplings, and mommas speciality fried rice. My total came to around $80 without tip. We ate at home and I’m thinking it would’ve been better to sit down and eat. The crispy beef was good and flavorful but was chewy as if it wasn’t fresh and more of a jerky texture. The rice had no flavor and I resulted to lots of soy sauce, the dumplings and pot stickers were about 6/10. Atmosphere is nice and welcoming and customer service was good and they were attentive. We were greeted upon arrival and our order only took about 10 minutes. They had a nice group of inside but it wasn’t busy.

I finally tried the original China Mama in Las Vegas and it absolutely lived up to the hype.
We ordered the orange chicken (perfectly crispy and flavorful), the shrimp spring rolls, and the beef fried rice, all super tasty. But the honey walnut shrimp and crispy beef were the real standouts. So good!
The restaurant was packed, but the service was still fast and friendly. The staff made us feel really welcome, like we were regulars.
