I haven’t been in China literally in years. I went to order chicken wings and fried rice. I expressed to the lady that waited on me that I would like for me wings to go in a separate container or plastic bag. She said no can not do meal together. As a customer, I requested something very simple because I didn’t won’t my wings yo touch the rice. She acted like she didn’t understand and refused my request.

Island jerk was closed but locked my keys in my truck so walked to here while i waited. Interesting dynamic communicating with them, make sure to read the paper menu and disregard the wall menu. Be clear when you order. They were extremely nice to me but witnessed another customer experience was kinda bad but in all fairness i think a lot of rough people wander in. Foods good, place is lil hole in the wall and run down. Sesame chicken was great.

Hadn’t had China Lite in years, but had a craving for Chinese food on my lunch break so I ordered it and everything was so fresh and delicious. China Lite is one of the only places that doesn’t put egg in their fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken was fresh and delicious.

So the comments on here are actually pretty hilarious. Rude, but great food lol. I could care less just make my food.
Anyways, I gave them a try. The food is good. The delivery was fast. The food was hot, fresh and tasty. The guy on the phone was nice. He did explain cash only. The delivery driver was nice. Decent prices, good amount of food. I would try them again. I got wings, chicken lomein dinner combo and pepper steak dinner combo and a sprite…I think with all taxes and fees $27…

Listen—if you’ve never tried theor steamed dumplings, your life is not yet complete. My partner and I get China Lite 1-2 times a month, and it NEVER disappoints. I wasn’t able to take pictures of the food because we tore into it so fast. Everything we have ever gotten from here has been amazing. Highly recommend all the versions of fried rice and lo mein, as well as the Happy Family mix (one of our favorites). Also just tried the hot and sour soup for the first time tonight, and I’m in love.

This place has gone down over the years. The customer service is horrible. First they only take cash for both carry out and delivery, next of you order over the phone for pick up they dont start cooking until you arrive and pay. Whats the point in calling before hand? Then the place isnt very appealing. Definitely would never eat there. Food is decent, the closest taste to NY style(where im from) but…
