Let me start off by saying it pains me to say these things, because this place USED to be the bomb. My family and I would come here just about every week. I grew up on it, and the food was always great. Never any issues. Friendly staff and the likes. Well, that’s a thing of the past. Food is bland and unattractive. Staff is distant and not very friendly anymore. Told them we wanted to dine in, and the food came out in boxes. My wife and I were splitting a meal, and were given no extra plates. Dining area was not clean at all. Chairs and table were sticky. And there’s legitimately cobwebs in the corners of the room. It was warm in the dining area as well. If you have this little respect for your dining area, how does the kitchen compare? This place just seems to be a husk of what it once was. Just feels tired here. I believe They no longer do the buffet either, which sucks. The price has also gone up. We shared this meal, and got 2 drinks and teriyaki sticks. Total is over 30 dollars. For these prices, id just recommend getting the hibachi buffet down the street. Same price and you get a variety of food. Sad to say, but we probably wont be back.

I got the shrimp and cashews. I didn’t know it came with vegetables, I was just expecting a Panda Express type deal. But so good anyway! And I got a 6pc crab ragoon, but it didn’t have the cream cheese I like, some other meat looking in it.

I can’t praise enough about the quality of their food, service, and delicious menu! It’s impeccable! I’ve been ordering from them for over 10yrs..Nothing but the best! I love their hot n sour soup! The best! Egg rolls are crispy and full of flavors! I got the Garden Special to tonight, extra spicy.. AMAZING!

We used to order take out from China Lee pretty regularly, but it kind of fell off my radar after moving further west. Last night, we tried to eat at the nearby rumored “best Asian restaurant in town,” but we never got the food we ordered. After waiting an hour and a half at the other, ahem, “Kitchen” with no estimate of when our order would be ready, I realized that China Lee was 5 minutes away. I’m glad I did! Ordered over the phone and had food in hand 15 minutes later. We got the honey chicken, chicken lo mein, sweet & sour shrimp, cashew chicken, and Hunan beef. Everything was delicious! We are definitely putting China Lee on our take-out rotation.

Food was pretty good. Had the general tso’s with crab rangoons. The general tso’s was amazing. The only complaint I have is that for two chicken dishes and one order of crab rangoons – it costed a little over 35$. That’s outrageous for chinese takeout.

I ordered tru DoorDash this whole meal for me and my wife and somehow missed the General tso chicken, when we received the package it was SEALED and there was only the lo mein and the cookies… I called back and the lady over the phone said that they can’t do anything for me that DoorDash will handle it from there, they don’t wanna make my food so I can even pick it up myself…

My family and I pick up China Lee all the time; for 15+ years! It is, in my opinion, the best Chinese in Knoxville! Just ate there 4 days ago! And it’s as good as it’s ever been! Consistency! That’s hard to find nowadays. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth a trip across Knoxville! You won’t be disappointed!!

After a long hard day of moving into a new home, finding takeout Chinese nearby was a welcome sight. The lo mein, crab rangoons, teriyaki chicken, fried rice, egg rolls and sweet & sour chicken were all delicious. We couldn’t be happier and we will be back.
