Im a chef of hampton roads, l ordered the egg foo young. Tender buttery egg that melted in my mouth wow they are my favorite for Chinese, it was the best tasting rice l have ever eaten. My favorite local Chinese! Great portion size for price, and all the classics never disappoint. Only thing to note is you have to buy sweet and sour sauce separately from crab rangoons. Overall great location!

Fried rice taste like it came out of a plastic microwave bag and just overall had a nasty taste. The chicken wasn’t good and they didn’t give silverware or napkins. Kind of a shame because it was more expensive than most other Chinese food. I didn’t even finish my meal it was so unsatisfactory.

About 30 years ago there was a Chinese restaurant in this place named Lucky Number Seven. It was a special event for my mother and I to visit Lucky Number Seven and share a meal, and I have some incredibly happy memories eating here.
I’m not able to tell if China Kitchen is owned or operated by the same family or if they sold it and the new owners changed the name, but if the owner sees this message, will you please tell me if you know anything about Lucky Number Seven, or if the original owners can be reached? I’d just like to thank them for the delicious meals I was served there in the late 80s/early 90s.

I had a positive experience. Ordered via Door Dash, yes Food cooked extremely fast; however, I ordered Beef Lo Mein with some custom ingredients. It was prepared just as I asked, no weird taste, found dish to be very good.

Ordered from DoorDash, delivery was quick and food was hot.
However, the food is absolutely disgusting. I got the General Tso’s “Chef’s Special” which has a chemical taste and just a mushy mess, and the Sweet and Sour Chicken which is extremely bland (including the sauce) and seems undercooked.
On a positive note the portion sizes are pretty decent. If the food was good it’d be a good deal.
Even the fortune cookies were stale and not crunchy at all.
Ended up throwing the whole order away, I don’t think I would even trust the plain white rice for my dogs.
