All Chinese restaurants in St. Louis are what I call fake Chinese food. However, I like to judge them by how they make their Singapore Mei fun which is what I always order. Well this one is delicious! Mei fun means rice noodles and Singapore Mei fun has all the meats including shrimp chicken beef and Chinese bbq pork in a slightly spicy yellow curry sauce. I give 5 star also for friendliness!

The food is absolutely delicious, I recommend the pork wonton soup and the shrimp egg roll (which is easily the best I’ve ever had) and their pork fried rice.

I ordered the General Taos chicken and it was inedible . It was so overcooked it was too chewy to eat. I had to spit it out and had to throw all the rest in the trash. The special fried rice was good though. Everything used to be constantly good. What happened?

This place was one of our favorites but has really gone downhill since the ownership change. A lot of the recipes changed for the worse. So it’s not as good but it’s close to home so we continued out of convenience. Unfortunately the last two times we have ordered from here the fried rice was hard with a crunchy texture. The first time I thought it was a fluke, but then it happened again. We’ve been eating here nearly weekly for over 5 years but we won’t be going back. It’s a shame. We really enjoyed it before.

We grabbed take-out from this restaurant around 8pm on New Years Eve because nothing else was open. We ordered Hunan? Beef and sweet & sour chicken. Both came with fried rice and an egg roll. Neither my husband, nor I thought the food tasted good. The rice was hard and the chicken had a funny taste. The red sweet & sour sauce was oily and unusual with a strange flavor. I only ate a couple bites. I don’t think Ive ever eaten “bad” Chinese food, but I will not return.
