This is my go-to takeout place in Danbury. Everythihg I’ve tried I’ve really enjoyed especially the chicken and broccoli, tofu dishes and lo mein. The hot and sour soup is also excellent in my opinion. For a late evening meal or something quick on the go. This is the spot.

Tried China King for the first time the other day because a friend recommended it. I wish I could say better things but I’ll never have it again. Glad we tried it so we know.. the sesame chicken had black spots in it, and the boneless spare ribs had no flavor and felt like you were eating thick cardboard. It was very strange.

This place used to be my #1 spot growing up, food always so flavorful and hit the spot every time. I haven’t gone in years but decided to give them a try and I was a little disappointed this time around. Chicken and broccoli with pork fried rice was alright but not amazing like before. Pretty upset because I was CRAVING! Chinese food, this place the only one open until 11, so I tried starting calling around 10:35. It would ring a while, then it was like someone picked up, and then hung up….this must have happened, idk 5 times. I liked their egg rolls the most and then their steamed dumplings and their fried dumplings and then even their sesame chicken was okay, but I don’t think I will order their vegetable lomein again… But I did like their homemade tea and their homemade hot chili oil too
The lady who took my order was pleasant but as for their atmosphere? — let’s just say they look busy… I wonder if management wants to grow their business into a bigger space? I know a place similar to them that was in business for years and years and did so well that they closed for a number of weeks while they remodeled themselves into a really nice buffet with a hibachi chef and a sushi chef too

Consistency is key and after have eaten here 2 to 3 a week over the past month plus, it’s safe to say they know what they’re doing. Ordering 2 different meals, at different times of the day (right before closing) and they get it right everytime. A friendly staff, who even puts in the effort to remember you and how you like your food.
