I was craving Chinese food so I decided to go here for the first time ever, to support a small business rather than Panda Express where I usually go, and hate to say it, but I should’ve gone to Panda instead. I ordered the sweet and sour chicken combination plate. Both egg rolls that came with my order were literally just dough, there was no usual egg roll fillings which was disappointing. The chicken part is also mostly breading and the pork fried rice has no flavor. The only good thing from this meal & experience was the fortune cookies.

Our oldest son and his family invited my wife and I to their house for dinner. They brought home Chinese takeout from China King and it was amazing! The food was hot and delicious and the portions were large. My three granddaughters, who can be a little picky, all loved the food and ate everything on their plates! I don’t know about their dine-in experience, but their take out is great! On the funny side, one of my granddaughter’s fortune in their cookie said, “Don’t be afraid to get professional help when you need it.” Not bad advice, but funny when a 7-year-old gets is! LOL

I ordered carry out. I ordered chicken fried rice and beef broccoli combination. The chicken fried rice was bland rice and onions with strips of chicken on top. The chicken was gray and dried out. I did not get my beef and broccoli. Instead it as beef and onions and green peppers. The beef was very tough. I have had jerky that was more tender. The pork fried rice that came with the combination meal had no pork. It was only brown colored rice with no flavor. I will not return. There are too many other Chinese restraints in Kokomo

Cute little restaurant with dine in or take out! Food is huge portions and very hot! My one complaint was I wish there was more flavor in the egg drop soup, and I wish my hot pepper chicken had had more jalapeños! But all in all 4.75 out of 5 stars! Will definitely be back to try more

I originally had a good review listed here. Unfortunately, I’ve deleted that to replace it with this. China kings food has gone far down hill. The past 6 months I’ve visited has been consistently poor quality regarding their flavor and food consistency. Tonight, my food was dry, flavorless, slimy and just downright disappointing. I’m really upset because I used to really enjoy this place. Lately, however, it’s clear they don’t take pride in their product anymore.
If by chance the owner reads this, PLEASE revert back to putting care and having pride in your food, once again making it delicious and flavorful, and I will gladly change my review back to 5 stars.

Love the egg drop soup and the fried shrimp appetizer is amazing. All their food is good but not the egg rolls . They are small, hard & no taste at all
