The food was typical when there is no competition in town; “leaves a lot to he desired”.
1st visit I had the worst egg foo young I’ve ever eaten. (I eat out often wherever I am in America.) It was greasy; grease all over my lips! It tasted like it had been cooked on a grill with all kinds of breakfast food. I’m a penny pincher so I took it back to where I am temporarily living and put it in a skillet. I didn’t have to use any extra oil. Will not order that dish again.
#2 visit: ordered the Dragoon that was pictured on the wall with no price not realizing it was $15.60! (I usually ask how much but was in a hurry to get to an event.) I later looked on the take out menu I brought home so I could find the exact name & price but couldn’t find it. I liked that the shrimp was not breaded & loved all the vegetables. I kept having to chew each piece of battered chicken so long that I thought I was going to be late for the event I was going to. I started wondering if it was chicken. I finally assumed that it was extremely dry (to put it politely). They probably figured the batter and spicy hot sauce (which I like) would cover the dryness. Maybe that’s how they can afford to serve so much food in their entrees. Their ragoons were “O.K.” (but have had tastier ones). Sorry if the pic grosses u out. It’s a couple of pieces of chicken after chewing, trying to dissolve it but couldn’t. (I had to finally leave for the event so took most of the food home. I took the pic at home.)
Service was fast, our food came out pipping hot- unfortunately we were not impressed that everything was served to us on Styrofoam plates.
I ordered the honey chicken and it tasted like someone sprayed to much perfume in a small room, the beef fried rice had minimal beef in it. The lo mein noodles and fried wontons were good though.
For the price and subpar quality, just not somewhere ill be stopping again.
