I really enjoyed this restaurant!
I saw that a friend had eaten there and have been looking for good Chinese food in Lee’s Summit. This is good Chinese food.
I dined in and enjoyed the very hot Crab Rangoon and amazing sweet n sour sauce. It was thick! Loved that it wasn’t runny.
I ordered the Mongolian Pork, extra spicy with pork fried rice. Both were super hot and delicious. Very impressive! Loved the sauce and fresh veggies.
The restaurant is clean and well run. I would totally return.

The food is better than China 88 the other easy carry out Chinese restaurant in town. Food is always great and lot!
They use their phone line for the Internet they said ?? so after not telling me anything on the phone, when I went in one time, she told me that I couldn’t pay with a debit card because I had a certain amount and the internet deal..? Made no sense.
But I went in a different time and she got rude that I want to use a debit card for just one order again. So bring cash or don’t order just one item unless you want to get snipped at.
They also told me 35 to 40 minutes just for this one dish today, seems like a long time for one thing and that she didn’t even ask my name and hung up.
Ordered chicken and vegetables, and it came with this brown sauce… It was pretty bland, but it was all right… Last time it came with a nice pleasant white “clearishsauce”

This is *the* spot for Chinese takeout. The only place in KC I know that has yellow fried rice (not that brown over soy-sauced white rice posing as fried rice.) China King also has the best beef of any Chinese place I’ve ever tried. So many good items on the menu I’ve been eating here for over a decade. Extremely friendly staff and family friendly environment.

Best crab Rangoon around and the moo shoo chicken is delicious. We moved out of state 3 years ago and were in town for an event. Nothing has changed but the prices. So for over 10 years this place has been owed by the same people and their food and serving sizes have remained consistent. Only downside is they do not deliver.

Hidden Gem!!
This looks like a nondescript strip mall tucked in behind an otherwise busy corner location. Don’t let the disposable plates turn you off … Food is amazing! Portions very generous! Quick service! Best Egg Foo Young ever! Soups are great, chicken wings delicious. We have never been disappointed by anything we have ordered. Dine in or carry out.

So I totally love General Tao’s Chicken. China King actually has the best here in Lee’s Summit… (Im entitled to my own opinion!) Lol…as far as quality, quantity taste & freshness. Always enough for lunch with leftovers. Thanks for making my lunch grand today!

Placed order on their website and paid for my order. When my daughter returned from picking up the order , I was missing 2 things the bottle of soda and the 8 crab rangoon. When I called in the only option was for me to come back and get it or a coupon for next time. I live 3 hours away. They refused to refund me for the missing items. My recommendation is double check your order because they will keep the money and the missing items!

If you’re looking for a traditional divey strip mall date spot, this is your Chinese restaurant. It doesn’t get more divey than this – with frosted bamboo stalk pattern windows, your traditional backlit plastic menu board, and little tiny red booths with glass koi fish dividers for extra privacy. I’ve done takeout from here mostly And see lots of Uber Eats come through Only one or two tables sat every time I’ve come in So it’s definitely a quiet spot. They don’t take AMEX, and they love cash. No bells or whistles, but the food is good. Nothing fancy all exactly made as you’d expect.
