The fried rice is dry, the noodles are too wet and the eggrolls have a strange aftertaste I can’t even identify. This place is below average for Chinese food in my experience.

We vacation in the Fredericksburg, VA area quite often. We have tried many of the Chinese Restaurants in the area. Today we tried China King (10-11-23). The food was excellent! The portions were great! They don’t call it a lunch special but a combination platter with different offers for lunch or dinner. We got it at lunch and I took a picture of my beef with broccoli. It came with an egg roll and a can of soda. At dinner you get an egg roll AND a soup! Both times it comes with fried rice and the fried rice was delicious! The woman who took our order was fine. No issues at all. I’m sure it is helpful if you just give the number of the item you want because there could be a language barrier, but overall we will be back when we come back to this area in November. Highly recommend! I included a picture of the combination platter prices.

Our food from China King was SO good tonight. We got chicken lo mein, sweet & sour chicken, sesame seed chicken, pan fried dumplings and egg rolls. The flavor was perfect and the chicken all cut and cooked great. I’m really picky about chicken, and this was perfect!

My wife and I stop in here about once a month for take out. We usually always pick Chicken or the Pork “Lo Mein” since that is what we both like. How are other items on the menu, well if it is as good as the “Lo Mein” then you should be good. Service is fast usually from the time we are ordering to the time we walk out the door is under ten minutes.

My family and I go here all the time. Maybe by the 2nd time they remembered us and they know our phone number so when we walk in to pick up the food they don’t even ask us our name. Great food and GREAT service. Best in the Fredericksburg area. We appreciate the hospitality!

The food looked good but had no flavor. I was very hungry and still was l was eating nothing. Weird but true, I thought my wife was the only one that can put ingredients together and totally neutralize flavors and make taste like nothing. China king’s food taste like that. Would not recommend.

This is the best overal chinese takeaway I’ve found in Fredericksburg. My only real complaint is that the crab rangoon typically doesn’t have enough filling and the corners without filling are sometimes too hard.
