I’d give zero stars if possible. Ordered mooshu pancakes were won-ton wrappers that upon assembly fell apart in my hands. Sweet and sour shrimp was cooked the refried. Shrimp was totally dried out and almost burnt. 95% coating 5% shrimp. They looked like doughnuts. Gave it a second chance, but never ever again.

I love stopping here the Owner is so kind, her children respectful. I am usually in a rush and work overnights and it’s hard to find time to eat, but when I need to get something in my stomach my favorite way to indulge in my hunger is by stopping here. Homemade soups to affordable combinations. Today left me with extra fortune cookies, Yumm! Thanks much✌️

China King, located on Memorial Highway, is a tiny little restaurant specializing in Hunan, Mandarin, and Cantonese Cuisine. It offers take-out and dining-in options.
We arrived on a Saturday evening for take-out. The restaurant was empty and there were no other patrons waiting for any orders. We were greeted by a very friendly woman who had our meals waiting for us as soon as we walked in the door. Although we didn’t order it, we were given two complimentary egg rolls (a lovable small child behind the counter even gave us an extra fortune cookie!).
Upon arriving home, we sat down to eat our soups and main courses. The egg drop soup was delicious and flavorful, with plenty of egg whites in a thick broth. The sweet and spicy soup was not to our liking, however, as it had a seemingly barbeque flavor mixed in.
Both of our rice dishes were of the short grain variety. The house-fried rice came with plenty of shrimp, chicken, beef, pork, carrots, and onion. Although it tasted well enough, the rice was dry and lumpy, as was the pork fried rice that was also ordered. The complimentary egg rolls were fine, very crispy and stuffed with plenty of shredded cabbage.
Overall, the meal was average, and had its hits and misses.Despite the very friendly service, it’s doubtful a return visit will be forthcoming soon, especially with a competitor – about a mile down the road and closer to our home – that is a bit more consistent with a better quality.

First time ordering from here. Food was not good at all. Food tasted like it was all refried .Breading was soaked with oil and even the rice tasted funny. Blame this on the cook. Lazy! Women at register was friendly. Won’t be going back.

General Tso’s was mushy. I had just ordered it. One bite into the chicken and the funkiest smell came from the inside of the chicken. Could not eat in fear of rancid chicken and becoming sick later. There’s definitely better in the Back Mountain.

This place is very standard like any other Chinese takeout places. The food is delicious and well made. I only say this from very few Chinese restaurants. But my rating is mainly to state that this is on of few restaurants, and trust me that it’s very few, that sells you Mongolian beef in form of a combo. Normally you buy it from other Chinese restaurants in small or large with white rice. So if you want anything but white rice, you will have to order a small or large order of the fried rice of your choice. China King awesomely sells you a combo of Mongolian beef with the fried rice of your choice and even comes with an egg roll. Their food is great and definitely recommend any Chinese food enthusiast to come of to China King. Thank you for the experience and the awesome food China king.
