This is the first dish I was not pleased with. The ribs were burnt, hard and chewy. The veggie fried rice was excellent as always. The egg roll was undercooked to my surprise. The sweet tea remained consistently flavorful. I do like they served the drinks with no ice. I’ll stick to my house egg foo yung add veggies, gravy on the side, which is how it’s delivered. Another huge plus.

I purchased 2 orders of chicken wings during lunchtime and they were received overly cooked. The shrimp veggie soup was under seasoned. The order was delivered so I didn’t have a chance to check it beforehand. 1st and last time. It’s a NO for me.

Small restaurant. There is no table service, but tables and a countertop are available to eat-in. Tables are very close together.
We ordered Chicken with Black Bean Sauce, Pepper Steak, and Chicken with Green Beans. They didn’t have green beans, so we subbed Broccoli. All food was ready within a reasonable amount of time. Everything was delicious and seemed fresh. Veggies were perfectly cooked.
I am not impressed with how the place looks. However, I was very impressed with the taste of the food and the service. When I’m back in Jacksonville, I will definitely order from China Joy again.

We ordered food from there for delivery. One of the items we got was supposed to be a QUART of Mongolian chicken. The amount of chicken in the dish was less than a small chicken breast, the rest of the container was FULL of onions. NEVER AGAIN! With 2 meals, tax and tip it was about $50. When I called to find out why it was like that he just said, “I don’t know what to tell you that’s the size of the order” The food was not even that good, the onions were barely cooked. This picture is AFTER removing the 5 small finger sized pieces of chicken. The fried rice tastes like chemicals.

Last minute lunch change. Everything delicious. Ordered PuPu Platter, plain lo mein, Singapore mei fun, and a 2 liter. I loved the self serving ordering system. The staff were extremely helpful when I needed help finding things on the menu. Food was ready in no time. Traveling but when we come back to town will be back and highly recommend to anyone to try the food.
