I can’t say enough good things about this little treasure tucked away in Victoria! I stopped in for lunch and ordered the chicken and broccoli, and I was blown away by how fresh everything tasted. The vegetables were perfectly crisp, the chicken was tender and juicy, and the sauce had that rich, homemade flavor you just can’t fake. You could tell it was all made with care.
But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the owners. From the moment I walked in, I was treated with the kind of warmth and hospitality you’d expect from longtime friends. They were kind, welcoming, and genuinely happy to serve their guests. You can feel how much pride they take in their food and how much heart they put into their business.
It’s rare to find a spot where both the food and the people make you feel so at home. This isn’t some big chain with cookie-cutter meals—this is real food made by real people who care. If you’re in Victoria and craving Chinese food, don’t pass this place up. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.
Highly recommend—support this amazing local gem!
Service: …
They don’t offer the buffet anymore I’m assuming due to Covid.
Also while the restaurant has interesting statues and other neat Chinese looks, the interior is in serious need of renovation the paint work etc shows the restaurants age.
The food was presented well but the taste was not up to par with other restaurants. Also my stomach felt kinda bad the night after so I don’t know. I had the Lemon Chicken combination plate and it was around $15.
The server was attentive and did plenty refills. But I’m still giving it a 3 star for the reasons I’ve mentioned above.
