I really wanted to give 5 stars because the food was actually really good. It was our first time trying this spot, we have a family tradition of Chinese food on Christmas Eve. Anyway I was so annoyed that they put my husband’s messy, super saucy beef and broccoli in a paper container and not the plastic one with a lid like my sesame chicken was in. All our food was sitting in a puddle of sauce. Not realizing it right away I ruined the tablecloth I just washed! Again……Christmas Eve. What an inconvenience, and that was pretty unprofessional of them. Would I go back? Yes even though some of these other reviews are a turn off. Hopefully we didn’t just catch them on a good night where they recently changed the oil

I decided to give it a try again because it’s the closest one and it was rush hour. Today we found a screw in our chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce. Picture attached.
I won’t be going back.
I’ve been going to this place for years and I gotta say their food has gone to crap. Today was the last straw. I bought wings ( they say 4 but it’s really 3.5 ) also got an egg roll and dried out old fries. They were all cooked in VERY OLD oil. The fries were so old and had been fried several times. They were dried out on the inside. I thought maybe they were just a bit overdone… But nope they were just hard shells that resembled fries. My 2 yo almost choked on one. See pictures. The egg roll was also hard and dried out. I don’t get it. They charge more then they have in the past but the fried foods are not worth it. Disgusted and a waste of money.

We don’t usually order from this spot, but the food was really good. We ordered pork friend rice, beef ho fun, teriyaki beef sticks, and chicken nuggets. Will definitely come back.

Had the general Tso’s twice now and I really think it’s one of if not the best I’ve ever had and I’ve tried a lot haha. I get it extra spicy and it’s sooo crunchy and delicious. Definitely recommend!

Im the type of person who likes to try every Chinese restaurant in my area to find the best. China III has absolutely the best food courses you could ask for. The service is better than most Chinese restaurants, where they’re rushing you on the phone to the point you can barely understand them. When calling China III, not only are they not rushing you off the phone, but they’re understandable and get your order correct every time! As far as atmosphere, they’re a takeout place only. I wish you could dine in there, but you can choose whatever condiments you want because they have them right there for you to throw into your bag. Very nice! Awesome place. A must try if you haven’t and want to take home and relax. 100% Thumbs up.

I tried China 3 at the suggestion of a friend who’s a great chef. It’s the typical standard Chinese menu with reasonable prices. Every other aspect of their food is awesome. My reluctance with most of these places is the overuse of oil. I ordered a standard – shrimp with mixed vegetables. Cooked to tenderness, seasoned perfectly and zero oil residue. The rice was cooked to tenderness also. The friendliness and overall appearance of cleanliness was a deal closer for me. Best to order in advance so if you walk in and place an order be patient. I like that they cook one order at a time to keep it good!
Update 3/08/25 this place is so consistently good it’s incredible. I had my usual again – shrimp with mixed vegetables. I should mention it’s takeout here. Also I read some reviews that complain about their fried food. I never order deep fried from China 3 but honestly why would someone expect great french fries from a Chinese restaurant?

We have been purchasing their food for years. Unfortunately as time goes on the “meals” or “specials” become mostly rice and very little of the main course. Still it is very delicious.

Make sure you look in the bag before you leave. I ordered a menu item and it wasn’t in the bag. I called them back to notify them about their mistake and I got a nasty attitude from the owner. Decent food and usually good atmosphere when they get their heads out of their butts and actually give you what you ordered. I’ve going there for years and now they pull some like this. I’m totally disappointed in them. If you want good food and good service go to the one on Pocono Blvd. Never ordering from them again.
