We realized it had been a while since we had Chinese food and with a birthday in our family, we wanted “to go”. Princeton was closed for some reason and the store in Milaca isn’t an option. Sorry, it has been a while but we got everything we ordered including the egg roll and wontons. Good food and very filling. They are a quick jump off of 169, so dine in or call ahead for take out. I drive by about 5 days a week and we will be stopping more often.

I was craving Chinese food on a road trip so I decided to Google one closest to the gas station I was at. It was a minor hassle getting there due to road construction, but it was worth it to support a local business in a sea of chains.
I ordered beef with broccoli lunch special that came with a side of lo mein and an egg roll. I also decided to get a small white rice and a beverage. The total came to just under $19.
Sadly, the beef was not fresh. It had an off flavor. The coloring resembled pork due to the oxidation that occurs when red beef is prepped and exposed to air. I didn’t realize at the time, but they are closed Monday and Tuesday. I stopped in on a Wednesday. You can do the math.
The restaurant and bathroom was very clean, the service was friendly, and the portions were good—I would have loved to take leftovers with me. There wasn’t a garbage can for me to use, so I had to just left my slightly eaten meal on the table and leave. This was nothing that made me sick, I was just very disappointed to spend a decent amount on a lunch that I couldn’t enjoy. I wish I just went to Hardee’s or Jimmy John’s.

The food is good but take out takes FOREVER. We have ordered here 3 times now, and every time it’s been an extra 15 minute wait for our food (on top of the original 1 hour wait time). Ridiculous.

We ordered tonight 03/15/24. We ordered $6o dollars worth of food for our family, it was so bland.. there wasn’t much flavor in anything but an egg roll. The rice was bland.. no flavor which is sad for the extra cost you pay for these things.. honestly not worth the $60 in my opinion. Just wanted to support a buisnes other than the same old ones in the town. Unfortunately was a waste of money
