Before the remodel and reopening, I was not a fan of China House but decided to give it another try. I’m so glad I did because the food was AMAZING. The spring rolls with peanut sauce were fantastic. The orange chicken is made with white meat and crisped perfectly with a load of onions and peppers, which I love! The pork rice plate was mouth watering as well! The manager and owner kept checking on the table but everything was perfect.

Where do I start. I have been in the restaurant distribution business for many years and have evaluated many of them as a “secret shopper” to help them improve. This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had. The menu is very pathetic. They do not give a description of what the menu items are. They just list the plate name. When we asked the waitress about several menu items and what was in it, she did even know. We went ahead and started with a calamari appetizer while we looked over the menu to try and figure out what to order. It arrived cold, soggy and very chewy. We ordered a chicken & noodle plate. The chicken was dry like cardboard and the noodles were terrible. No flavor what so ever. I suspect this had been sitting in a steam pan way to long. The eggrolls were over cooked as well, they were very dry and tasteless. A manager/owner did come by and was apologetic and comped part of the meal. While that was nice, it didn’t excuse the poor food quality at all. We went there for a nice meal and ended up very disappointed in the food quality. We will not go back.

The new China House is amazing Authentic Chinese food. I had the beef pho and orange chicken. It was crispy and delicious. The spring rolls were amazing and so was the service!

I really miss the previous owners, the food has gone down hill. I ordered the shrimp lo mein the noodles where hard.. Hopefully they improve the food quality. Right now Panda express is better.

Waited 15 mins before our drink order was taken, then the “tea” was beyond weak, because they didn’t have any ready when we finally ordered. They rushed it.
