We stopped here for lunch. We were immediately greeted by the server. She seated us and took our order. We received our appetizers and our meal very quickly. The prices are fair and the food was fresh with large portions. The service was the best we have received. The owner of the restaurant checked in with us quite a few times. We had a great conversation with him. We recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back.

We’ve been hearing about this place ever since we’ve moved to Madelia. So we finally got a chance to go check it out. The food was good, fresh and good portioned at a fair price. The service is the best I’ve had at a Chinese restaurant. Very friendly and involved owners that make sure the customers are happy. We’ll be back, especially for take out if we’re driving through.

This is my go to when am in town. The owners are so nice and the food is delicious. If you leave hungry it’s your own fault! You get good size portions! I will for sure miss my favorite Chinese restaurant since am not going to Minnesota any time soon . Don’t want to miss this small town restaurant! They are worth supporting!

This is not a buffet style restaurant. We were sat in a booth by the door, next to the large waiting area, which got quite cold when guests exited and entered; allowing me to see only a very small area of the whole place. It seems sectioned off somewhat awkwardly, from what I could see, which again was not much. Staff was delightful. Kind, attentive but not too much and the chef came out and introduced himself after our meal to ensure we enjoyed it. I ordered egg rolls and the general tsos chicken w fried rice instead of steamed. Both the egg rolls and chicken were fabulous! I do not recommend the fried rice – I didn’t care for it at all. Egg rolls are fresh, hand made and larger than most; no need for sweet n sour sauce with those they are so yummy! though it does make them even more delicious. I was pleasantly surprised when not one bite of my chicken was fatty, tough or overly battered – best general tsos chicken I’ve had yet (less then 10 different places). The person I dined with had the peppered steak – flavor was really good, steak was a bit more chewy than their liking. Over all, I will definitely be ordering from here regularly when I’m visiting the area.

Pecan crusted shrimp has such delicious flavor. The portions are huge. Sizzling Happy Family was just like its name…Sizzling!! My hot and sour soup was the best I’ve had in years!! The owners are very friendly and come check on your satisfaction, personally ..truly a great find!!
