This place isn’t a 5 star or even 4 star restaurant but it is my fave china buffet around. I love their egg drop soup And that they have the popping boba tea. Their sushi is usually good too. Part of what I love about this place is that it’s never too busy. I can always come in, get a booth and not have to wait.

I’m coming back in response to the owners reply to my original post. I don’t even have to comment a response. You can read it for yourself. This shows you what kind of business owner this is and that’s all I think I have to say and your dollar 25 difference in the totals give me a break pretty desperate I have almost a 1 million views on my reviews. I don’t lie you get credit if you earn credit and you did anything, but that people read my reviews for a reason. I have absolutely no reason to lie read the response judge for yourself I don’t know you nor do I know your business. I’m just here to let the public know. What you should be saying is I’m sorry that you had such a bad experience and what can I do to make it better but I see from your response. You don’t care about your business and you’ll probably lose it just as fast.
First of all, this is the worst Chinese I’ve ever had in my life. It was cold and overcooked or undercooked and nasty. I came at lunchtime with a six year-old and the bill was $27. They charged five dollars for my six-year-old old drink. I will never come to this place again, even if it was free. on top of all of that what are the Chinese ladies was in there yelling the whole time it was very uncomfortable.

It’s ok for the price but if you’re looking for something special like frog legs don’t bother. There are different prices between lunch and dinner/ Sunday but that’s the only difference. The food is EXACTLY the same food you get at lunch just at a higher price. Plus side is that there’s never any wait to be seated.
There is PLENTY of open floor space and a PRIME location but half of the restaurant is closed and used for storage which is a huge waste. This place has so much potential to be a amazing place to eat but needs a shot of liveliness, wider variety of food, and an aggressive advertising campaign.

Nothing fancy or upscale about it, but that wasn’t why I came in. The facility has always been a little on the grimy side. The bathrooms in particular, are just nasty. However the food used to be good and the service was always friendly. The last few years it has all gone down hill. The owners kids are rude, giving customers dirty looks, talking down to people, etc. Never respond to “thank you” or “have a good day” with more than a grunt. The kids have always been rude, but the other workers USED to make up for it. Now beyond that, it appears there is a gnat/fly infestation. Prices go up, service and cleanliness decline… I won’t be back. Such a shame. It was the last *relatively* decently priced chinese buffet in St. Charles that had decent food. Now its either cold or old or they’re out of it. I wish them well and hope that seeing posts like this changes how they choose to run their business. I know I am nowhere near the first to stop dining here because of the overall decline. Customer service in particular.

Was nervous to try this place from previous reviews, but we came in about 2:30 on a Saturday without any issues. No wait to be seated. Standard selection of food, not super varied! The price point felt perfect. I do feel like some of the food could have been hotter, but it wasn’t a point of contention in my opinion. Nothing bad or overly good, very middle of the road! I like that it felt relaxed and we were well taken care of by our staff.

I absolutely love this place. It reminds me of my childhood. I love an old school feel, nothing fancy just like my childhood Food was great. Staff was friendly. I found my new favorite Chinese buffet. Suggestion maybe some music playing other than that I love it❤️❤️

Before reading about this place go to TEXAS ROAD HOUSE INSTEAD. Walked in here with my wife for date night on Nov 22nd 2025, first off the environment was very Asian I was ready for some good food, once I walked over to the buffet area I was not impressed. When we walked over and seen the food was over cooked and under cooked we were sure to grab what we thought was edible, the salmon tasted like tummy medicine and was very cold, the Mac and cheese was colder then ice tasted like they just dumped it out of the package, the egg rolls were even horrible, I swear this place needs to be shut down, they had me pay for my drinks even, so it total I spent 7$ here when in fact I should’ve spent 0$ for the crappy food service.
To the owner if you read this you really need to fix your food service in there
