I went in at 1 pm on Tuesday, for the first time. I ordered the #21 Glass Noodle lunch special with all the meats.
I was the only person in there, so the service was prompt. The waitresses was very courteous. After about ten minutes, she brought out my plate with a smile. As soon as the plate was set down before me, I could tell that half of the meal was going to be bad. The rice was grey. Obviously burnt. I still tried a bite to be sure it wasn’t a seasoning. It was burnt. It tasted like a burnt pan and there were chunks of char throughout the rice. The noodles, however, were delicious. All of the meats tasted fresh. Even the shrimp. The lunch special also came with hot and sour soup, and an egg roll. Those were tasty, as well. I was only able to eat half of the glass noodle portion on my plate, so I got a box for the rest. The waitress brought me a to-go menu with my check, stating that I can take it with me for future orders. I left the paper menu and half plate of blackened rice on the table. I won’t go back.

I just went there and the 2 precious times I went I was pleased. However, this time, I ordered a meal and it was NOT up to parr. I paid extra money for extra chicken which was not given to me. I asked for no sauce and there was sauce on it. I asked for white rice and they gave me fried. I also ordered potstickers for $11 and they gave me 4 total. I returned it immediately as it was not what I ordered nor worth the $30 I spent. They took my food back and started arguing with me and wouldn’t give me my money back even though they took the food back. So I just paid $30 for absolutely nothing. I will be disputing the charge and I will never return. I will also be disputing the charge with my bank. What a huge disappointment especially around the holidays, and especially for someone who used to be a loyal customer-

Last month I ordered take out which included chow mein. When I got home they had sent chop suey, which I really dislike.
Went back tonight and ordered chow mein, thinking they had probably made an honest mistake. So I didn’t check it before I left. Sure enough, chop suey again.
They won’t get another chance with us again.

We were the only dine-in customers. The hostess was also the waitress and the take out person. She was overwhelmed a couple of times. Obviously it is time to hire additional help. She was always upbeat and positive. The food came out in a timely manner and was hot and delicious. Because she was so busy we had to wait for more tea and hot sauce. One of our leftovers was put in the trash in error. Had she had help all of these issues would not have happened and we would be giving 5 stars. We will go back and adjust accordingly if we see she is alone again. Definitely a place to go!

I love this place! The portions are huge so we can count on leftovers for 2 days after. I love how it’s exactly what you would expect, never disappointing. Veggies are always crunchy and fresh. The staff are so friendly, even complimentary every time I go in. Love that it’s so close. Such a gem for our tiny (but lively) little PV center.

New old lady at the cash register should be fired immediately. I bought $38.00 worth of lunch TO GO and she criticized me as I walked out the door for not giving a tip. Are you kidding me. You should be lucky to have a repeat customer, that buys 220.00/month and gives tips for to go food some times. I would love to have the owners phone number.

On 2/14/23 my wife had to call several times to get someone to answer. When they finally answered she was put on hold for 10 minutes (on the counter). She kept saying “hello” hoping someone would check the phone. After 10 minutes the employee hung up the phone without checking if someone was on the line. My wife called back and was able to place our order and was told 45 minutes.
I arrived in 45 minutes to pick up our order. After 20 minutes of excuses and telling me my order was next, I set my timer for 10 minutes. During this time, I heard the employee telling other employees not to worry about the customers since they are “emotional” because it’s Valentine’s Day. My timer goes off and I walked out of that place for the last time.
I have never felt so disrespected and not valued in all my life.
Not even a call back with an apology.
This place has changed in the last about 6 months. Food quality has dropped but we’ve tried them again hoping things would improve and now this.
A note to this business and its owner…bad news spreads exponentially faster than good news (Customer Service 101). In one day 20 people have heard our story and now this post.
I hope your experience is better than ours if you give them a try.
