You’ve been warned…
My family ate here yesterday. This food was by far the worst Chinese/ Asian food we’ve ever had. Not only was it bland and tasteless, the sauces were completely watered down and liquid, including the watered down sweet and sour sauce that had the consistency of juice. The rice tasted like it had been sitting for quite sometime or like instant/ minute rice, and the onions weren’t even sautéed/ cooked at all. The beef in the Mongolian beef tasted freezer burnt and off (as in rotten). The two of us (my 2 year old son and I) that ate the beef have been sick with food poisoning since this morning. And no it’s not a virus, literally just had a flu bug less than a week ago and this is definitely food poisoning.
Horrible stomach pains, vomiting, diarrhea, fever, body chills, Charlie horses, blurry vision, lightheaded, and weakness. Can’t keep anything down or venture far from the toilet or a puke bucket.
Sitting in the ER with my 2 year old hooked up to iv fluids due to dehydration from this right now.
Will absolutely never eat here again and would never recommend anyone else to eat there.
Honestly, frozen Chinese food from the freezer section at Walmart is far better and more authentic than what you can get at this place. Hy-Vee Chinese is more authentic. Or just buy the ingredients and make it yourself to save yourself not only the expense price for tiny portions, food poisoning, and hefty emergency room costs that this food comes with!
If you want a decent Asian food restaurant in the Burlington area, try places like Family Buffet. Ate there for over a decade now, food is great, friendly staff, decent prices, and most importantly; never gotten food poisoning from their food! Wanted to try something new and that was be far a HUGE mistake!

The Lo Mein was really good, the only thing that was disappointing was my order was wrong I asked for fried rice I got white rice, and I didn’t get the orange chicken in one of my plates. Other than that it was good lo Mein and Kung Pao

Saw this restaurant prior to taking my son to a movie today. Thought it would be great to try and bring home for dinner. I ordered a broccoli beef entree, chicken lo mein and a chicken teriyaki (no veggies).

The food (even after an hour long drive home) was absolutely delicious! The flavor was amazing! When I crave Chinese food, this is the flavor I’m wanting!

Service was great and I truly look forward to going back! We have been looking for good Chinese food since moving to IA from AZ 3 years ago.

Ordered three egg rolls and they were all cold on the inside, tasted it awful.I can’t eat cold egg rolls so called and let them know that whatever they’re doing to cook them is not cooking them. But this is my first and last time going there

Honestly one of my favorite Chinese places I love getting them occasionally when I’m in town as a little treat because even though I live in Cedar Rapids honestly no one compares. Their general chicken is the best it’s like kind of crispy even though it’s generals and it’s I think it’s amazing. It’s spicy but it’s also flavorabler and the crab rangoons are amazing.bI could eat like 20 in one seating if I let myself.

Asked for lomane and got noodles drowning in soy sauce, no veggies. Asked for sesame chicken and instead got what looked to be hours old chicken that tasted like it was left soaking in soy sauce. Very disappointed

Authentic cooking! Not some Americanized version overloaded with a starchy glaze. 2 thumbs up for that. The server was actually very friendly. I don’t give their service a 5 only because they use too much styrofoam. I do have to warn people with a big appetite: the serving size may not fill you up.

The chicken was over cooked and was hard to chew. It was like eating rubber. The portions are ridiculously small now. They asked if I wanted an egg roll. I said yes. It was a spring roll. Not an egg roll. There’s a difference!
