I absolutely love their food at China House.
I’ve tried different dishes and so far I’ve enjoyed each one.
My favorite is the Singapore Chow Mai Fun and the Hot and Sour soup.
The food has good portions and is always hot and delicious. The pork fried rice is worth the price and so are the fried dumplings. My kids love their rangoons and the vegetable rice.
The only reason it gets a 4 instead of 5 stars is because it is carryout only. You cannot dine inside there.

Went in to order a combination plate of boneless spare ribs and an order of pepper chicken both of which are listed on the menu online. Was told they had neither. If ya dont have it why is it listed on ghe menu in the first place? An updated online menu would be nice. Can’t rate the food because they didnt have anything I wanted! Definitely won’t be coming back.

I have ordered the same thing twice in a row. The menu says it has “BREADED” chicken that is fried. The first time I ordered it ABSOLUTLY NO chicken. ALL vegetables. The second time ( 2-17-21)we asked for double chicken just to make sure there was ACTUALLY chicken in it. We paid extra for it. ABSOLUTLY NO BREADING ON IT WHATSOEVER. No more. I spend AT LEAST $30-60 each order and SOMETHING is always wrong. Does the photo look like it has breading?????? Trust me…..it does NOT

They only offer takeout. I was skeptical on trying this place, but I am glad I did. The good isn’t saturated in grease and taste great. The staff is always friendly and service is fast.

One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area. I always find their food tasty and plentiful, and the people have always been friendly to me. The prices are very reasonable as well. Just don’t use door dash, as door dash adds 20% to the price, as well as a delivery fee AND a 15% door-dash fee, plus a driver tip. Door dash was going to charge me $79 for food I was able to pick up myself at $47. Well worth driving there and getting it yourself.

Decent food, the onion pepper chicken had almost no chicken and enough green peppers and onions to choke a mule, tasty everything else though. The cashier knew English, well enough to understand perfectly. Got our food fairly quick.

We tried them for the first time since we moved back to the area. I was surprised that they are still take out only but that is ok because we don’t usually dine in. I do miss eating inside this old restaurant. Every dish we got was very good. We have had take out from Mt Gilead but weren’t impressed. I compared our sales slip with the menu for the other Galion Chinese restaurant and we saved several dollars. This restaurant will be our go to for Chinese in the Galion and Mt Gilead area.

If there was an option for no stars that is what they would get. Ordered 3 dinners only got 2 had to wait on other one. The lid was off the red sauce so by the time we got home it was everywhere and the chicken lo mein you literally had very little meat and tasted burnt. Was really disappointing and won’t be ordering again from here. Will wait until House of Hunan in Marion is open.
