Hidden gem! I didn’t know they were still open, I haven’t been in years. The General Taos chicken was flavors and spicy! Vegetable fried rice was amazing.

OK Do not order takeout via UberEats (only choice). Dec 26. Large on-line take out order $131 paid by AMEX over . Got there and China House said ‘no order not paid’! Yes the place was a zoo… Son picking up order re-entered order in person. Hour later he got the order and paid on MasterCard. In that hour, some people people left with no food. UberEats sucks for take out. May be OK if it was delevery. I got charged and son got charged. The original order obviously was in there system and may have actually come out and left on the counter like some others.
BAD experience for more than just us picking up takeout.

I cant believe I haven’t left a review until now. This place is truly a gem. It’s tucked away by the post office so you might have to look for it, but it’s worth finding. They have a website for ease or ordering, and we have done takeout every time. I would definitely recommend going here, they have a big menu of options to choose from. We ordered the Sweet & Sour Chicken, General Tsos Chicken, Crab Rangoons, Teriyaki Chicken, and Hot and Sour Soup. 10/10 deliciousness! 🙂

Szhuanan beef has no beef or spice to it. Beef resembled fatty pork. Husband said his pepper beef had more onions than pepper. Please find a real Chinese restaurant to order from. This isn’t the place

Very poor customer service, overpaid, and because I threw away the food that was wrong, no refund could be given for the $3 extra charge I paid. The manager said I would have to return to the store with the pork fried rice. I placed an online order for pick up, paid extra for plain lo mein as a side instead of pork fried rice, even gave a $2 tip at the time of the online order. When I asked if he could ask the cook to verify he packed the order wrong, he told me there are too many orders and there was nothing he could do. Unfortunately, we will not be back.

Returned for early dinner ordered Singapore Chow Mei Fun bc of the rice noodles, ugh, delicious!
Their white rice isn’t seasoned but, a good stickiness & chew! I wish I lived /work in the area, I’d order often, affordable too.

We eat here at least once a week, food is amazing, staff are nice, prices are reasonable and portions are more than most can eat. We have eaten the Moo Goo Gy pan and the Moo Shu Chicken with veggie egg rolls. So good. If you liked Plum Tree in Coloniel Heights you will,love,this place, same great food.

I ordered beef and broccoli, pork fried rice, crab rangoons, fried dumplings, and pork egg rolls. The beef and broccoli and the pork fried rice smelled so bad and were inedible. The rangoons were very tough and cold. The egg rolls were the best part of this meal, but you can buy better quality in the frozen section of a grocery store. I’m pretty disappointed and threw away nearly all of this food.

China House restaurant is absolutely amazing. Don’t pass it by just because of its looks! even though it isn’t that spectacular on the outside, I dare you to take a step inside and try the food. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for authentic Chinese food. It was better than I was expecting and definitely worth the trip. I had the lo mien, and that was especially good, I could not have asked for better. And the donuts we had after the meal were amazing. Whatever you do, don’t pass this place up because of your first judgement, give it a try and you will be greatly rewarded.
