We were definitely not impressed with the food there ! Please do NOT order the yellow rice ! It Taste horrible and uncooked . Very dry tasting. My wife ordered the teriyaki chicken on a stick and it was very dry tasting! . Definitely did not taste like teriyaki chicken. No taste what so ever . Only thing that was good were the egg rolls ! I give this place a 1 star for sure . Will not go there again . Wasted $29 and threw all the food away except for the egg rolls . So I paid $29 for 4 egg rolls ♂️ .

This place is hit or miss. Leaving one star because of yesterday’s order. First of all they shorted me an egg roll not that it mattered because they looked and tasted like they were cooked over a week ago. The sweet and sour chicken tasted like it was warmed over several times. The rest of our order was just luke warm which usually the orders are extremely hot. This tells me it was all warmed over. Very disappointed. I eat here a lot but when I spend $40 to $50 I expect my order to be edible.
UPDATE. Decided to give this place another try. Nothing but regrets. Egg roll was burnt and looked like it was from 2 weeks ago. Boneless Spareribs were rancid. I took one bite and spit it out. Chicken lo-mein and beef lo-mein had a nasty dirty chemical taste. They left my rice out of the order. This was the final straw. I took the mess back and got a refund. Never eating here again. NASTY

We used to come here often years ago. Tonight we decided to try it again. To say that it was not good is an understatement. The hot and sour soup had no taste but a ton of chili peppers in it. Also, I have never seen hot and sour soup that had so many carrots and mushrooms in it. The house fried rice had two shrimp. General Tsos chicken just chased it like chicken nuggets. Subgum wonton had green peppers which it had never had in the past. It was also not listed on the menu in the description. The pork was inedible. We had quite an assortment of foods. Everything was very bland. We will not be going back.
I came back to add that the service was decent. The server was very polite and took our order quickly. Everything was ready in 10 minutes as he said. I just wish that the food was better.

The food is nothing to write home about. It was pretty average. Below average is the experience. Not friendly. The place has not been updated since it opened. NO DRINK CUPS. I ordered a tea and came in the same quart cup the soup comes in. I asked for a cup and she gave me the same type but is was a 1/2 quart soup cup. The kind that has that hard plastic ring around the top. Not for drinking. Then I asked for ice……NO ICE. What kind of restaurant doesn’t have ice?? If you don’t have ice or cups, just don’t make tea. Provide bottled tea like your other drinks.
Remove the faded hangings, get cups and ice and a fountain machine, update the paint, fix the broken ceiling tiles, clean the grease off the ceiling tiles, make it look like a real business, and try to be a little more friendly to you customers. Nobody likes to go in a business and feel like they are bothering the staff when they are trying to buy something and spend money. That is kind of what you want them to do right? So act like you appreciate it and not like its a bother.
As soon as another chinese restaurant opens in this area, this place will be in trouble. It won’t take much to get all their customers so I would take this criticism to heart and make some improvements.

The REAL TNR Queen
We ordered take out. We got 3 large egg drop soup, all were delicious, but the “noodles” they give you are awful. We got the house special fried rice, and it was awesome. It had chicken. Beef and shrimp, and they didn’t skimp on anything. We also got shrimp chow mein and it was fantastic. The rice was perfect and it was simply delicious!

If I could give 0 stars I would . I remember some time ago eating this place and got a real bad stomach bug well a yr later today I tried to give them another chance because it’s no Chinese places near . Chicken was old and I asked for Hot wings and got plain wings. Made it all the way home called them to see if I could come in tomorrow due to their mistake guy told me no . Drove back up there to get it exchanged & wasn’t satisfied at all he even shorted me a wing .Wouldn’t recommend . And seeing all the 1 star reviews , no owner or GM responds to any of them or fix things . Place should be shut down .

If I could give zero stars I would!!! They have increased their prices to the point its not worth it and it was $50 for 3ppl….. they charged me to sub fried rice for white rice 3.25 extra when its 3.95 for a full side! They also charged almost $5 to sub noodles for rice. I spend a lot of money here and When I asked them she shrugged her shoulders at me and took it out the bag….I will never spend my money here again and suggest everyone check their receipts! Also the quality of the food is better elsewhere

I only had one bad experience ordering the sweet & sour chicken. The chicken was dry,seemed freezer burnt. But I’ve been back ordering other products. I like the food especially the boneless spare ribs & egg drop soup.

Quality of the food has really gone down hill. Used to really enjoy their food but lately just not as good. Greasy egg rolls, cold spring rolls and the sesame chicken was more batter than chicken. Will not be back.

Decent atmosphere but great food. Better than average value considering how expensive everything has gotten. $70 fed ten adults with thoughtful ordering. Very helpful over the phone. Very quick turnaround. Super nice in person. I would definitely recommend the China House based on this experience. Also try the beef on a stick… Awesome!
