This was our first and sadly the last visit to China House. We love Chinese food but our experience at China House was horrible, food tasted very bad, unpleasant atmosphere, unprofessional staff, seating is very old and uncomfortable I find very hard to get in and out from them also the entire restaurant needs a makeover.

Food is decent at best but pricey. I placed an online order and the lady at the cash register called me and told me I couldn’t order because “my area code wasn’t an Asheboro area code”…pretty sure you don’t have to have an Asheboro area code to LIVE in Asheboro. Overall, rude customer service, the actual inside of the restaurant is disgusting, like I’m shocked they’re Able to pass inspection and the food is edible but not amazing.

I have ordered from here a few times. I like that I can order online and the food is usually good! The place needs a serious update though. It also smells strongly like cigarettes inside. I asked one of the workers about it and he said it was because of the business next door, (looks like a place where you can gamble). Apparently they allow many of their customers to smoke indoors and it comes through the vents. So its ok for takeout but I would never eat inside.

Worst customer service ever. Didn’t get what we ordered. Instead of an understanding manager we received a person who said they went back listened to my call and said they got my order right because I mentioned chicken. I ordered 3 plate with chicken and one with shrimp but they heard all 4 chicken. If I could give zero I would. This is the 2nd time we have had a wrong order with in a few months. Bth no difference between the chef specialties and combination plate.
