By far the best Chinese food in the north hills. Great people and awesome price! Highly recommend the crab Rangoon and scallion pancakes as well as the sesame chicken.
I love their lunch specials as they come with fried rice. I am a big fan of their food as you get a ton for the price. I would recommend anyone looking for great Chinese in the Pittsburgh area to stop by and pick up some. So delicious and great for a last minute dinner option.

This place is a little gem. Reminds me of all the mom and pop Chinese restaurants growing up in California. Delicious food. We go here to eat lunch and we also had them cater our baby shower. Food was just as good in bulk! Awesome chicken on a stick to be sure, and big fan of the egg foo young and house special fried rice.

So disappointed. I read the reviews and figured we would give them a try because the reviews seemed good! Worst general tso chicken I’ve had in the area, the egg roll was legitimately ground up mush inside, and the vegetable lo mein was dry as can be. $65 I’ll never get back.

My family and I had been coming to China House for over a decade, mostly for takeout, and it’s always been one of our favorites. We love the simplicity of the food and the warm, welcoming atmosphere.
The owner and his family are incredibly friendly and flexible. I used to see their kids helping out or doing homework at the front — it made the place feel like home. It’s truly a family-run restaurant in the best sense.
Even after moving away, China House remains close to our hearts. It’s one of the places I make sure to revisit whenever I’m back in town visiting friends in Wexford.

This place is fire! First time in, ordered what I always order, Szechuan shrimp, extra spicy. Well for once, it actually WAS extra spicy! And delicious! And prepared quickly and well packaged. I’m still eating it right now as I write and I’m glad I have some left to go back to! I’ll be back.

I work at a car dealership not far from this restaurant. We order here at least 3 or 4 times a month and I don’t think I’ve ever had a messed up order. They are quick and accurate even with very large orders. The food is always hot and very good, and the prices for the lunch specials are awesome! I mean honestly, where else are you going to get a meat, rice, spring roll and soup for $10? Couldn’t recommend this place more.

This place may look humble, but my goodness the portions are huge and the prices are cheap. The spicy shrimp combo was the best thing I’ve had in quite a while. For about $10, I had a meal that lasted me two days with an egg roll, shrimp, vegetables, and soup. I will definitely be coming back, and it seemed like a lot of regulars did the same. 10/10
