Been ordering at China House for several years & always loved it. We haven’t gotten food here since Christmas 2024 until tonight & it was awful. We ordered the same things we’ve gotten before, but the boneless spare ribs & veggie dumplings were weirdly spicy, the sesame chicken was extremely dry & the “fried rice” looked & tasted like what I microwave in the packet at home. We haven’t tried the wonton soup yet. They also didn’t deliver the side of pineapple we ordered. All in all a very different & bad experience.

I’m afraid I have to agree with those who say that something’s changed for the worst. The chicken wings used to be well-battered and flavorful. Now there’s practically no coating or flavor at all. The steamed dumplings are still out of this world, though!

Been ordering regularly for years, happy with the food. Efficient service. Regarding the low reviews we never had a bad meal. Wontons in the wonton soup are tender and delicious. The dining room is typical for takeout restaurant.

I decided to try this restaurant while waiting for my cloths to wash from next door laundromat. I was going to go to Panda Express and I am so happy I didn’t, the food was amazing. Was able to order online at bo extra cost which is a plus food was ready promptly. Props to how well the restaurant is handling the pandemic everything seemed clean and had barrier between customers and workers if thats how its in front can only imagine the back. Really recommend; will never waste my money at panda express again.

I seen numerous times Hamilton residents say what is the best place in Hamilton New Jersey this place is never mentioned. I tried some of the popular Chinese restaurants, and I couldn’t understand why people love these restaurants so much. To me China house should be number one choice. I love everything I ordered from this place. The food is fresh cook well and delicious. My favorite dish is roast pork mei fu and wonton soup. Also the egg rolls are very good. Glad I gave this place a try now I only get my food from them

We ordered 5 meals. My son meal was chicken and broccoli with rice. He ate 2 spoons full and immediately started vomiting, eyes swollen broke out in gigantic hives. I had to administer my epiPen!!! He is highly allergic to shellfish and this place had to Cross contaminated his food with shellfish. This is an ongoing problem when ordering food from restaurants. You can not use utensils, pots etc that was used for shellfish. Instead of enjoying the food we had to go to the hospital. Could not trust that other food was not cross contaminated so 5 orders was tossed and for this I now give one star!

BEST crab rangoons in the whole universe!!!! and i love all the trinkets they have too!! everyone who works there is so sweet and kind, and the food comes out incredibly fast and piping hot!!!

Placed a order online and picked it up in person. The receipt and bag was missing part of the order. I informed them and showed them the receipt. Said they didn’t get that part and shooed me out the door without out offering to make what I paid for or let me atleast get soy sauce, mustard for the food I did get. This place just keeps getting worse and worse with time. First the food quality dipped now the customer service is gone as well. Finally done ordering from this place and it used to be my go too for years… shame.

We’ve ordered here a couple of times since we moved here. Usually, it’s OK. We like the family meals, but recently the price went up, and I found a hair in my food and the chicken and broccoli was all congealed. Probably, not going back. Would not recommend.
