This is hands down my favorite Chinese restaurant in Maine. If you like the old school Cantonese Chinese food, this place still does it, and it’s still delicious like it always was.

My friends and I were driving through Bangor, ME to head to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park and had a deep craving for Chinese food, so we decided to stop by China Harbor to get our fix. It is ABSOLUTELY a must-stop place if you’re in the area and want delicious Chinese food. We ordered the crab rangoon, chicken wings, the beef lo mein, and virgin pina coladas (safe driving please), shrimp fried rice, teriyaki skewers, and a couple more dishes (only some pictured below!). I usually don’t leave reviews but everything was delicious, not greasy or overly salty, which some Chinese restaurants can overdo, and the staff were so friendly providing us recommendations at Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park, that we decided to stop by again when we were driving through Bangor on our way back home. I’m not sure where the one stars are coming from, but China Harbor is a must if you want Chinese food!

If you are on your way to Acadia this place is a must stop. This family-owned restaurant offers a variety of tasty American Chinese food with great service. Just a quick detour off of 395 with free parking, it only makes sense to stop here for lunch and avoid the crowds at Bar Harbor. The General Tso’s Chicken, fragrant and fresh, came out in a very well served portion. My absolute favorite was the Crab Rangoon, a crisp sweet & savory deep fried dumpling that I could eat for days. The staff is super friendly and can give you tips about things to do (and not do) in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Definitely worth the stop.

American Chinese food. Price is higher than New York, the older woman is rude with attitude. First time me and my friends come to this town and so happy to see a Chinese restaurant, the woman acting she don’t want any customers come. While I’m waiting for my food to go, hear her lies to others over the phone.

Says open till 8 pm Saturday night, not only were they not going to vserve a party of 4..they said the cook went home but we could get take out…wth..will never go back ever again after 4 years going there. Used to there weird behavior but this time…you really sucked…nasty women..too bad..they uesed to be good..even when they were in Rockland Maine… followed them up here..not again
