We called ahead and it was easy to make an order. I ordered a quart of the beef and broccoli, and the house special soup. It was tasty, quick, and cheap. When I went in to pick up, the food was ready, the building was empty of customers (they were just about to close, and I noticed 4-6 relatively clean booths available for dining in. They have a pretty large menu and I like that. I can’t comment on much else, like bathrooms, quality of the dine-in service, or satisfaction with the atmosphere, since I only did take-out. But it seems like a very small, cozy, casual family restaurant. Thanks for the food!

The quality of the food served is good. However, was a little disappointed that the Special Lo Mein did not have the right amount of sauce and it lacked of flavor. Fried rice and bourbon chicken was flavorful and delicious. They have a wide variety of dishes.

This food was awful. We tried this based on some decent reviews and instantly regretted it. Wonton soup was nothing but chicken broth and wontons with barely any filling, the “fried” wontons were a soggy, grease soaked, flavorless, burned mess, and the food was your basic low quality americanized Chinese food. Fried rice tasted like semi burnt packaged yellow rice with zero vegetables in it. I had Moo Goo Gai Pan and the chicken tasted cheap and chemically injected, veggies were soggy. The fourth picture showcases the amount of “filling” inside the fried wonton. Miniscule amount with zero spices or flavoring. SUPER mediocre, gross, and low quality food I will not order again. It takes alot for us to not finish our food and we actually threw out most of it. Everything tasted smokey and burnt. If you gave this five stars please do yourself a favor and check your taste buds.

I really regret going here. My first time going here. The food is horrible. All of it. I ordered the jumbo special fried rice. The rice didn’t taste like Chinese rice. There was more rice than vegetables and meat. Rice only had chicken. And a little bit of the other meats. But mostly chicken. It had hardly no vegetables in it. It had no eggs. At all. The chicken wings were stale and uncooked. Ordered a special chow mein taste like nothing. It looked like a they cooked it with water honestly. Ordered the special and it had no beef. Lots of chicken. I don’t like being mean but is the honest truth. Change the cook please. Or give them tips or orient them to be better cooks. Guys not worth it. Sorry again. But I am very disappointed. And I only gave 1 star because it wouldn’t let me post my review. If it was my an option would give them 0 stars.

i have been ordering the same item from this restaurant since 2005. but it far away from my house. so i don’t go there often. i saw it was available on uber eat i ordered the same. salt and pepper chicken and veggie fry rice. this time the salt pepper chicken was by far the nastiest thing i have ever eaten. and clearly wasn’t prepared the same way it use to. i believe the restaurant had different name in the pass so i guess the new owners copied the menu but dont know how to cook it

Stay away from the salt and pepper chicken. It was the saltiest food I have ever had. Make sure to check your order because they forgot to give me my fried rice inside the plate. They don’t do exchanges/refund if you don’t like the food. Also on the menu they have ‘Fried Plantains’ displayed as so but it’s really Fried sweet plantains. And the sweet plantains didn’t have a good taste. I have never had a bad experience with Chinese American fast food but I’m confident to say this has been the grand bad experience

Delicious! I highly recommend China Gourmet! The quality and flavor of the food is noteworthy. The rice was full of flavor with whole separate grains fully seasoned but, with the perfect amount of vegetables and meats. Not salty but balanced. I had the honey chicken and it was just right. Plenty of white meat perfectly balanced to breading. Everything was fresh and well made.

If I could give zero stars I would. The food is average and the service is absolutely terrible. In a pinch, I’ve ordered take out from this restaurant twice and both times the owner was rude and acted as if I was an inconvenience. This second time, they got my order wrong and when I called to inquire about it, I was yelled at and hung up on. I was shocked. When I called back to ask if we were disconnected, the owner admitted he hung up on me. When I said, I wouldn’t be ordering from there again, he said “GOOD! I don’t care!” and hung up on me again. There a million other Chinese restaurants in Miami with way better food. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.

This place is absolutely terrifying! I’ve ordered probably twice from them. My second experience is not as nearly as bad as some of the reviews but it was enough for me to never place future orders and to spread word. I ordered the safest thing on menu which was shrimp and French fries. My shrimp weren’t properly cleaned and peeled. I ate about two shrimps when I really I was eating a bite full of poop! The feces was not extracted from the shrimp. I was also missing my drink which I paid for, and my fries were soggy, cold, and wet. I immediately called for a refund and the owner was quite rude. However, I will not let this go unnoticed and proper measures will be used. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS RESTAURANT!
