The best Chinese food I have ever had. I have been going here for decades, and they make the best sweet and sour pork; and my husband loves the peanut chicken. Tea is served with every meal. The new owners did change some of the recipes slightly, but it is still really good.

This 5-star rating is based on my one experience there Dec 2016. I had the sesame chicken with white rice which was the best I’ve ever had. I also had the crab rangoons which were good. I couldn’t detect much flavor beyond the cream cheese but I find them good regardless and would order them again. I don’t drink tea or eat egg drop soup so I can’t review those popular items.
*edit: I see others commenting on the outdated decor. This didn’t bother me even a little bit. It added to the experience for me. It certainly doesn’t detract from the taste of the food.

Dined here with our family for a birthday celebration. Our party consisted of 6 adults and 7 children (ages 4 weeks to 10 years). Our server “Jack” was very kind as well as fun considering all the children present. We asked for chopsticks to enhance our dining experience and had a variety of excellent entrees from the “family style” menu. The children really enjoyed the barbeque pork, sweet and sour pork, almond chicken and chicken chow mein. We will definitely dine here again.

Ok food. It was much better before the people that own panda Garden started running it. The egg drop soup, which I LOVED, isn’t the same neither is the rice, or chow main. It was nice to have different chinese places to eat in town, but now that they are ran by the same people I guess I have to choose between them or the mall. I’m very sad they took over.

I entered the restaurant thinking it was a little dark and dated, but decided to give it a shot, reviews said it was a great place to eat. I was seated straight away and was given a menu. I waited a good ten minutes before the waitress came to take my order (the waitress was the only one taking orders and she was having to bus tables as well), l ordered a couple of appetizers and a kung pao chicken platter. Took another 20 min to get my appetizers, I realize that this isn’t fast food, but to dunk some food in the fryer shouldn’t be but 5-8 min. The egg rolls were kind of burn tasting, the “drummets” were mostly tasteless fried batter. On the positive side, the tea was good and the Kung Pao chicken was ok. Next time I want to have Chinese food, will have to give this place a pass.

We still enjoy China Gate. It has been our favorite place to go for Chinese. Recipes have changed a little. We went to China Gate today Jan. 4 2017 and the Almond chicken is not the same. Didnt like it! Need to go back to the origional way.

I love the food. I have been coming here literally all of my life. They just changed owners, but it is still good.

Love the Mandarin Beef here as well as the Sweet N Sour Chicken. Portions are great and prices very reasonable.

This place is still good even under new ownership. Very friendly service but the decor is out of date. Clean place and will be back!
