I was at the Genesee theater, watching “The Nutcracker” and after the show ended, I decided to get a bite somewhere nearby. that’s when I stumbled upon China Garden Restaurant! luckily there was no line they took my order within seconds and the food came out within minutes. The lady who took my order was very nice and patient with me since it was my first time there. It was really delicious!!!! I had number #10 – the chicken and broccoli (pictured below) .

So good! I was watching Big Bang Theory around 8pm and they were eating Chinese takeaway and I haven’t had it in years. This did not disappoint. Amazing portion for the price. The veggies and meat seemed so fresh and the sauce wasn’t overly salty. I was sad it didn’t come in the little white boxes that I remember growing up. Even so, this will be my go to. Sorry Panda Express 🙂

An excellent place for a low-key, relaxing meal with friends. Tasty food, excellent value. Don’t be turned off by the sketchy exterior and the disposable plates and utensils. Service is good and the food is delicious, comfort food. The inside is not upscale by any stretch but has plenty of booths and is decorated with quaint, homemade decorations including children’s drawings and old elementary school projects.
