Great food! My favorite dish is the Hot Pepper Beef!! I always substitute noodles for Rice because the rice I’m not crazy about, it seems to always taste steamed even if it’s fried. But for the price the food is excellent and the egg rolls are delicious

This has been our favorite chinese restaurants for so many years. I have eaten here since I was a child! Im extremely sad, and I know so many in our community are devastated to hear the news that they are being forced out of their lease on December 22nd. A family-owned, local business who has been a staple of Elizabethtown for as long as I can remember, will no longer be there. Very disappointing. I drive from Louisville just to come here to eat, we love it so much. The food is fresh, delicious, and you get so much for the price. The family that owns it is so kind and passionate about their food. It has always been a treat to come visit and enjoy a meal there. Im hoping that they will be able to find another location!

I ordered the Mongolian Beef dinner for $7.95. I had to wait a while to receive it since there was only one person running the restaurant (she was very nice, so I really didn’t mind the wait). The Mongolian Beef had a lot of onions (more onions than beef)! It also came with plain fried rice which wasn’t too bad. Most Chinese dinners come with an eggroll but she said that would be extra. Overall, the meal was okay but the serving size was small.

we usually go to Double Dragon in etown but didn’t want to drive that far so decided to try this place. I checked out the reviews first and most of them said it was great food for a good price.
Those people have obviously never had good Chinese food. WORST Chinese food I’ve ever had. The chicken was soggy. It was grey and chewy I’m not even sure it was chicken. The rice had an awful taste. Honestly the best part of the meal was the fortune cookie. No matter how cheap, Chinese food should never be that bad.

Apparently since Olive Garden opened 200 feet from China Garden they’ve lost a lot of their customer base. Went in at 5 o’clock on a Monday to order takeout. No customers in the restaurant at all. We ordered takeout for three adults. I had Hot Pepper Beef, the other two people had General Tso’s Chicken. We also got extra rice and noodles as well as egg rolls. I am truly sorry to say that China Garden at one time was an excellent restaurant, however, the meals we received tonight didn’t even merit a one out of five! Over cooked poorly seasoned I believe that the rice had sat for hours before it was served to us. We live 20 minutes away from Elizabethtown so taking it back wasn’t worth the effort. We’ll never go back again!

Family owned and operated and they treat you like family. Have been going to them since I was a teenager…Im 36. They have the best rice and egg rolls anywhere from here to Louisville. Love love love this place and this family.

Always great quality food. As a resident of this area for nearly 20 years, I can say it ranks as one of my most frequented Chinese restaurants in the local area. The same family has owned it for as long as it has been open and never disappoints when it comes to quality food.

Since my family and I have moved here, we haven’t found a place that actually fries their rice… we usually just find the Chinese places with the yellow rice, which is okay but not great. China Garden makes your food fresh, and not once have I had a bad experience.

We have been eating at this restaurant since it was located in the mall’s food court. Absolutely love the hot pepper beef. I have tried it in 7 other states at a bunch of other restaurants and theirs is the best hands down.
