I have been to many Chinese restaurants and China Garden has got it right. I ordered chicken and broccoli, pepper steak, and kung pao chicken; it does not disappoint. The chicken and veggies were cooked to perfection with so much flavor; it is not soupy, veggies are not overcooked, and the meat is very tender. The price is also reasonable, as well. I will be back. Thank you very much!

Average food.

The kung pao chicken was said to be spicy but this dish was not spicy at all. It was actually a bit too salty for me. The general tso is normally my go to at Chinese restaurant and this one was not my favorite. No spiciness at all and it lacked flavor.

The chicken egg rolls were actually quite tasty! And the flat noodles were good as well, these had some flavor.

Our waitress was very polite and they were bilingual (Spanish). I will note, they do have lunch specials for about $8. I believe it was Tuesday thru Friday.

We ordered take out and it was so incredible. We had the tofu and the dry bowl with cauliflower and it was amazing. Service was good but again we had it to go. The atmosphere inside was really nice with many families in dinning and enjoying their night. Really recommend this place the food is well seasoned and has a great flavor. Glad to make this my new go to Chinese food.

If you are used getting massive amounts of Chinese food, that almost always requires a go box; well it won’t happen here. Their portions are reasonable, but not huge.

The beef rib dry pot seems to one of the favorites ordered by diners. I tried the chicken instead. It is bone in chicken that is cut into small pieces. It was heavily seasoned with cumin, and other spices, deep fried, then served in a small wok with a live flame underneath to continue the cooking process at your table. Along with the chicken were onion, celery and lots of chili peppers. It is a very spicy flavorful dish. Delicious, like nothing I have ever had! We also had the orange chicken. It was good, not too sweet, but average.
There are items on the menu that I have not seen on a Chinese menu before. That makes the Chinese Garden a little unique and worth the try.

Went for first visit to dine in lunch. We had pepper steak and house special lo mien. Food was freshly cooked, served hot and delicious. Service was very good. Wont reduce rating but will mention tea is very weak and they have only packets of hot mustard that were so old they were brown and thick as paste. Will bring my own next time. Hard to find quality Chinese food and i will be a regular as long as they continue to serve great food. I will order water next time.

I loved this restaurant, I went there because it was the closest Chinese restaurant to me. I experienced an amazing meal, that looked picture perfect and tasted great. The atmosphere was cozy, like a mom took a lot of time and effort to make sure it felt and looked good. I hope that description gives the right feelings. Will recommend to others, can’t wait to take my kids back.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. I hate complaining, especially as a big Tulsa restaurant advocate. I would advise anyone to NEVER eat here. They charged us $30 for one plate of orange chicken and rice that had been sitting out all day, then reheated. I will be contacting Tulsa Health Department, this will lead to food borne ill was and food poisoning. I tried to work it out with manager, but told me to put food in a bag and to return it in two days to get half a refund. THIS IS NOT GOOD BUSINESS! Please support your local restaurants that support and care about Tulsa natives. DO NOT COME HERE AVOIDING FOOD POISONING. Everything was hard and chewy.

Was looking for authentic Chinese food, and China Garden delivered! (I think they actually deliver, too.. I’ll be checking into that) We got several dishes, and they were all fantastic… egg drop soup, steamed dumplings, spicy boiled beef and the beer duck. Prices were great, and portions were large. All the staff was incredibly attentive and kind. China Garden has better food, prices and staff than many of the ‘upscale’ Chinese restaurants in Tulsa.. definitely my new favorite Chinese spot!

Update: I ordered their delivery, and it was great! Instead of paying high fees through a service like door dash, they deliver in-house (to your house) for a much lower price.

Wonderfully fresh food. We enjoy this place with the family, whether its a holiday or graduation of a nephew, or a birthday. Its always been a delight. My mom picked this spot who has recently passed, we’ll be going back in her remembrance ❤ to celebrate her life.
