Mediocre food at high cost. The takeout is the price of a regular take out dish but half the amount of food. The containers were so small! Usually two entries is enough for my family to have dinner and leftovers and this wasn’t enough even for dinner. And the taste was just disappointing. Beef and broccoli was no good at all, the mai fung was tolerable. The teriyaki chicken was a bit different, probably would’ve tasted okayish if it wasn’t served to us burnt (seriously, why serve food burnt). The chicken wings are straight up odd. I wouldn’t order take out here again not only cause it’s expensive but the taste was just not there.

Food wasn’t very good either overly spiced or under spiced the service was terrible. I would expect more from something in the brainerd lakes area. Atmosphere was nice there was only a couple dirty dishes but what do you expect from a Chinese gimmick honestly I would skip it. But you know what do you expect You’re in the brainerd lakes area you should go get burgers and fries and fish just something that isn’t worth your time $6 for a soda $11 for a buffet that’s okay nothing special and trust me when I say I’ve eaten out because I work on the road and I know these things definitely drive down the road and find something else. Update I just ate here a few hours ago got food poisoning been on the crapper for about 2 hours didn’t eat anywhere else today so must be it

If you like Chinese food, you’ll love this place. The atmosphere is impressive with the giant water fountain in the center of the court. The food was well displayed and everything tasted great. The tea they served was superb, and just what was needed to complement the meal.
Price was what you’d expect for this economy.
Wheelchair access is possible but would be difficult getting through two sets of heavy doors.

I went just after 11am a couple weeks ago. Food variety was perfect, though some dishes were mislabeled or unlabeled. The taste was good and every dish I tried met my expectations. Staff were attentive, sweet, and hygenic. The decor and general atmosphere was a little retro and there was some wear and tear on the seating, but overall it was a cozy eating experience. I would go again.

. to the point that matters ” if the food was free I still would not go back there ” at prime time dinner. 5 pm all food barely warm & old with nothing fresh coming out. most trays almost empty. impression same food sitting out all day. even the Jello looked old. can not say if any dish was actually good fair at best. staff seamed very sad not a smile of any kind. they have a large non running fountain non maintained looks like not cleaned in months. making one wonder if no care given there what is the kitchen like .

So its $15 without beverage and you can not do your own refills either way. On a medium traffic night I had to wait forever for plates to be removed and refills. When the waitress did come by she was filling everything with a pitcher that she stuck into the liquid of the cups as she filled FOR EVERY TABLE . The food was really bland and quite a few items were empty for the entire visit and what was out was cold. The food tasted cheaply seasoned like they just mixed ketchup and honey in a bowl for tso’s and the server was kicking and slamming different items around. I will never go again.

We came for the buffet at noon for first time. A little apprehensive because of some of the reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised. Food was very good…fresh, hot, lots to choose from. Very clean buffet. Servers friendly & wore masks. Only negative is the unappealing exterior of the building. As far as people getting sick, you have to wonder if they don’t just gorge themselves with plate after plate to “get their monies worth”. I wonder. My favorite thing was the chicken & broccoli but really, it all tasted pretty good. My husband liked that were several items with mushrooms. And nowhere can you beat the price! We will return soon for sure.

We frequently eat here and no matter the time we have not left hungry or disappointed! The variety is great and the food is always hot. The best part is the self serve ice-cream ✨️

All the food was old. I’ve never been to a buffet that doesn’t have chicken wings. Cream wontons were hard along with coconut shrimp. Fried rice was grainy and had no flavor. The crayfish was soak in lukewarm water and did not have a seasoning. The white noodles stir fry dish was horribly cooked to the point that you could hardly tell it was noodles. The worse buffet ever. Word of advise when entering a buffet, ask to look at the food first.
