My friend recommended this place and we were so happy to have gone. The restaurant is super clean and bright, the buffets were full and food fresh! Delicious!!! Lots of things to chose from. The young man that waited on us was so incredibly nice and attentive. We will definitely be back and bringing more friends and family with us. What a wonderful place!!

Tried to do the “right” thing and be discreet about the issue. The manager came over and repeatedly told us we were wrong, said you couldn’t crush a “worm” with your fingers. Also mentioned she had seen lots of worms working in the restaurant businesses, so that wasnt one. It was a maggot. Not sure what dish it came from. I wasn’t expecting our meal to be free or discounted. All she had to say was were so sorry, we will be looking into it. Will never stop again.

My family of 3 adults and 3 children in the past enjoy this place to eat. We usually get take out and it was so much better than the buffet.However, on July 8, 2025 we tried the buffet for a nice dinner, we were so disappointed in the food that was cold, the food was tasteless, noodles cold, my grandkids and the adults could not eat the food that we put on our plates. Then charged $83…. This is unacceptable. I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone. We will not eat there again for Take out or Dine in.

Was in town passing through and thought I’d stop for a bite to eat. This was buffet style. I usually rate places with a 5☆ but all my food was cold off the buffet except my egg drop soup. And what choices were available were almost completely gone or stuck to the bottom of the pan, and you couldn’t get it out. Also, they were expecting a group of 40 to be arriving, and as I noticed when going to the restroom, they had restocked everything as it should have been at all times. I can’t recommend this place and took no pictures to post either.
Maybe their local people enjoy cold and very few choices. But I prefer hot food and as many choices as there are hot plate containers for.

I used to eat here a lot growing up with my family and always enjoyed it. Recently, I visited with my boyfriend to try it out again and was not impressed, at all. The food is cold, and not pleasing to the eye. As I was eating my sesame chicken that they have as a buffet option I found a tendon and proceeded to pull it out. After the tendon was brought to the waitress’s attention she just shrugged it off. Will not be visiting again.

I was here for their lunch buffet. It was great! They have a fish tank with goldfish and jellyfish, which my kids loved. And it is well taken care of, too.
The food is hot and tastes great. They have very reasonable prices, and the bathrooms are clean, too. Can’t ask for much more from a restaurant. Will visit again!

Since I moved to Wilton Iowa five years ago, I’ve never been to a China Garden before. The food is so delicious, I couldn’t possibly eat no more than two plates. The egg drop soup is to die for better than other restaurants. The folks waiting on me do an excellent job leading me to a seat. I love giving them a nice tip amount. Please, if other’s are wanting to try authentic buffet food then you’ve landed in the right place. Come on in, enjoy!
