This was my first time getting food from this resturant. It was recommended by a family member. the food was excellent. The portions were large and more than enough for two. We have enough left overs for another meal. I will definitely go there again.

First visit. Ordered deep fried tofu with broccoli and wings/fries. Tofu was fried to my liking, sauce was ok, I’ve had better. Not terrible though. Wings were flavorful fries were fries minus the salt. Overall pretty good. Gave a 5 for atmosphere to help the reviews score but there’s not much to it. Go in get your food and head out.no dine in.

Left items out of a sealed bag delivered by Door Dash. New China sealed the bag. I called restaurant every day and was told manager will call. Five days … no call. When I get so-called “owner” on phone he begins screaming at me! States he is not responsible and called me a “crazy lady” if I thought he cared to make this right. NEVER VISIT THEIR RESTAURANT if that is the attitude of the owner. Run away! Staff actually told me they didn’t know who owned the restaurant! That tells me they frequently have issues and don’t won’t to provide the name of owner.

This is my first time trying this place. I have never been more appalled. I placed an order through DoorDash. I received the order no issues. I open my container and I’m eating my lo mein- which lacks flavor and I begin to choke on something in the noodles. Lo and behold- one of the longest hairs I’ve ever seen come out of a restaurant kitchen. This is absolutely disgusting. Obviously no one is wearing a hairnet in the back and no one is doing quality control.

I actually ordered take out, Sweet and Sour Shrimp and Egg Drop Soup. I added green onions to the shrimp and put green onions, red pepper flakes and garlic powder in the soup. Definitely worth the price. I was in Lansing taking care of a sick parent and my sister wanted to treat me to my favorite take out food, I chose this place because of the name China Garden. The place was clean and orderly, food was ready when I got there and was piping hot once I got home. If I lived in Lansing, Michigan I would visit regularly.

Have been going to China Garden for about 20 years. They are consistently accurate with our order. Always super fast and very friendly. We love that the chicken dishes we get are made with all white meat chicken breast. Our favorite is the hunan chicken. Unbreaded white meat chicken, lots of fresh broccoli, carrots, baby corns. So yummy. They have wonderful egg rolls and drag Rangoon. Their fried rice is very good. I’ve ordered this for office lunches and people rave about it. We’ve also had company from out of town rave about it and consistently hear it’s some of the best they’ve had. Everyone loves the egg rolls and Rangoon. We always get take out. The location is a small strip mall so probably best to get to go food.

Ordered for delivery at 5pm was told 1 hour for delivery. Two hours later still no food. Called again said driver was in my neighborhood which was a total lie. Needless to say we never got our food. Bad Service!!!
