We came to french lick to stay at the water park hotel and wanted to get out for some food. The place is simple, and seems family run. Service was quick, food came quick and they were very friendly. The food is more authentic Chinese which is a plus, and probably what triggered the few jerks who left 1 star reviews. Americanized Chinese food ISN’T Chinese food. This isn’t Panda Express. It’s more authentic and down to earth. Prices are reasonable, and portions are bigger than you expect for the price. I definitely recommend them, it’s a quaint local Chinese restaurant. Disregard the few negative reviews. Give it a try! The food was great!

Older building, not in good shape, but very clean. Great service, food made fresh and very good. The Family Special came with small plate of eggroll, Rangoon, and steamed dumpling and choice of soup. A good buy for $8.95. l would eat there again

Well, the service was quite quick for carry out, and the lady was nice, but that’s about all the good I can say. The food had almost no salt or seasoning. The Hunan beef and the vegetable beef were exactly the same dish, no difference in taste or ingredients at all. The vegetables were slimy. We got no soy sauce or utensils in the bag. The crab rangoon was okay, but it looked to have food coloring in it. Granted we did get food at an atypical time at 4PM, but I don’t think it’s an excuse for the poor quality of food. It is the only Chinese place in French Lick that I could find, so if you REALLY have a hankering it will do in a pinch, but otherwise you might wait until you can go elsewhere.

Cute, quiet little place with great food. We ate in for dinner and had very fast service. Like most Chinese restaurants that serve mostly Americans, I guess they don’t servce their spicy dishes very spicy. I asked for the Hunan Chicken dish extra spicy, figuring that would result in it being served somewhat spicy, and I was right. I was happy with it since it turned out as expected & it was very good.

Service was fast and the stuff was friendly. The chicken curry was taste good but the chicken with garlic was sweet and no garlic. Price is responsible. If you find something better go to it better .

Friendly old lady runs the place. The food was good, although a touch salty. But if you are eating Chinese you already know that. Prices were very reasonable.
