I recently visited The China Fun Buffet, and it was a mixed experience. First off, the decor is absolutely dreadful—outdated and tacky, making the whole place feel unwelcoming. The floors were dirty, the tables weren’t much better, and don’t even get me started on the restroom—it was downright filthy.
As for the food, it was incredibly disappointing. The ‘food’ was as bland as a frozen Chinese dinner from Kroger, lacking any real flavor or freshness. Definitely not what you’d expect from a buffet.
The only redeeming quality was the staff. They were attentive, friendly, and really tried to make the best of what they had to work with. If it weren’t for them, I probably wouldn’t even give this place 3 stars. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.

Ordered General Tso’s chicken which was very good as compared to really good Chinese restaurants in NJ. The fried rice was also as good. Haven’t had any other entrees or the buffet but I’m not a fan of buffets anyway.

Love eating here! I get it to go. I’m allergic to poultry and there’s a lot of choices I can eat on top of what I can’t. My favorite is frog legs. I was limited on 6 to go because they’re really expensive but that’s ok because there’s tons of other items. I always get a container packed full and leave a good tip.

I visited this little chinese buffet today. At first glance i wasnt sure about the place, small, simple styling, and the buffet i was there for looked nearly empty. The friendly staff quickly had us seated and im so glad i stayed and will continue visit this gem. Since only a few people were in dining at the time the staff was only putting out a few servings worth of each dish on the buffet at a time and thats why it looked nearly empty. As soon as something ran out it was quickly replaced with a few more servings of fresh and hot food. I much prefer this to having a full buffet that just sits on the bar for hours. And im talking delicious food, constantly hot and fresh and a real reminder that good food doesn’t just come from fancy 5 star restaurants. I will be returning next time im in the area and i just wanted to write this review so i can let others know if they get there during slow hours and see the buffet nearly empty like i did, dont be fooled, it is hot and fresh and quickly refilled, treat yourself and stay

Holy MSG. I’ve had a gallon of water since I got home. The food was old and stale. This isn’t personal to the ownership. And to top it off, 2 of us was almost $50.00

Paid 65$ for 3 people . Not a lot of food. Very nice people but it was more than china wok in Athens tn and Athens has way more selection in everything. Don’t think ill be back to this location.

Well im sure when this fake pandemic is over the buffet may be better with more selection the food was fine the service was good the lady was prompt on getting you refills and removing old plates i will go back there again hope for more of a selection

China fun beffett is a great place to eat. They are never very busy and they have lots of food to choose from on the buffet.
