I’m not a local to this area, or even to PA, so I wasn’t expecting a chinese place in the middle of nowhere to be good, but oh my goodness, it was so good! The eggroll wasn’t greasy, the shrimp was flavorful, and the vegetables! Oh the vegetables! They were so fresh and delicious! The pizza place in town has frozen vegetables, so I was nervous, but these were so fresh, and there were so many in my fried rice! I love it, and will definitely be returning.

It’s not bad, basically what you might expect from a Chinese place in Shickshinny quality-wise. Portions are generous and the cooking is competent. I personally think that it got better after it re-opened. (I guess if you don’t know, the restaurant closed and re-opened after some time with new management.) They actually serve Thai food here which is not something you’d expect in Shickshinny, and it’s not so expensive as what you’d get in Wilkes Barre or Bloom. I love Thai food so having a local place serve Pad Thai is a blessing. AND they will make General Tso’s tofu if you are vegetarian, and it’s quite good.

To be fair, we’ve only been once, so our experience is limited. My wife and I ordered Kung Pao chicken (extra spicy). They definitely missed the “extra spicy” part. The food was good but unexceptional. If China Fun was in my area, I wouldn’t go back because there are better Chinese restaurants near me, but if I was in the area, I would consider them again. I do have to say that this is the cleanest Chinese takeout place I’ve ever seen.

Ah. Place was clean, staff was friendly. The food was not great. I had an orange chicken PFF combo for lunch, and it just felt blah. It was not bad, but it was not great. Lunch combo didnt include an egg roll!!!! Would like to go back and try the food again.

Ordered the quart of beef and broccoli, it came with 5 small pieces of what looked like beef or chicken, and the whole quart was broccoli. It wasnt cheap either.
