Ordered general Taos chicken. Chicken was dry. Dish was very sweet asked for extra spicy there was no spicy to the dish zero red pepper flakes. Also asked for sesame chicken also two sweet. Writing this review from the bathroom at 3am

As a long-time Roanoke resident and local Realtor, I stopped by this small Chinese spot after a busy day to grab my favorite takeout — Mei Fun with two egg rolls and a Sprite. It has all the charm you’d expect from a cozy, “mom-and-pop,” hole-in-the-wall restaurant — but what really stood out was the respectful service and reasonable wait for fresh, hot food. While the flavor was decent, the staff’s attention to detail made the experience memorable. They even double-checked my order, adding chopsticks and napkins without me having to ask — a simple touch that shows they care about quality. If you’re in the Roanoke area and craving a quick, no-fuss takeout spot with friendly service, this little gem is worth a visit!

Just ordered house low mein, house fried rice, crispy coconut shrimp, rangoons, chicken in garlic sauce and egg drop soup and all of it tasted like metal/iron like. Rangoons had a foul spoiled sweet taste. I called to tell them and she said “ok thank you!” How is the place in business? Probably the worst I have ever had.

We come here quite oftan and always have a good experience. The store is always clean and the people are friendly. The food is excellent and they give big portions. Most of the time I call in my order and they tell me it will be done in about 40 minutes and it never takes that long. It only takes me 15 minutes to get here and it is always ready. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

Just ordered a bunch of dishes for a family get-together; everything is disgusting. Dry, angel hair subbed for rice noodles, disgusting dumpling filling, egg rolls greasy and the grease tastes rancid. Spices are off, wonton soup 4 thumbs down. Truly awful and it’s all going in the trash.

Got the orange chicken and the sauce was not very good. The chicken was not crispy and kinda chewy. Fried rice was ok. Tasted like the frozen chinese food from kroger.

We have been getting takeout from China Fresh for many years. They are consistent with their food and it hits the spot each time. The chicken mei fun and chicken on a stick are some of our favorites. The steamed dumplings are also great. It is family owned and operated and they remember customers each visit.
