The Chongqing Spicy Chicken (辣子鸡)was crispy and spicy, mixing with fried peanuts and peppers. The chicken pieces were small, it might be better to have larger pieces. The Fish Fillet with Pickles Mustard (酸菜鱼)was also spicy, using green pickle peppers (泡椒). The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (鱼香茄子)has a heavy sauce, sweet and sour taste, which I would prefer it lighter. The Dry Fried Green Beans was good, it is the most frequent dish on our order.

Excellent, savory food I had until I picked over what was left! The food didn’t feel heavy or doused in sugar like Americanized Chinese food places. The Eggplant with Garlic Sauce (V2) dish was soft and buttery without feeling greasy. The Vegetable Delight (V3) was buttery, but not greasy. The Foodie menu was the best. The Chonquing Spicy Chicken (F9) was spicy, but not overwhelmed by spice or salt. The lamb was best of all – I left no piece behind after others had their fill. It was the most tender I had. Even the eggdrop soup with wonton pieces that were apart from the Foodie menu were good. Sever stopped by to refill water. Restroom seemed clean.

Ordered Mongolian beef and it was $17 and some change. Very disappointed with the meat portions and the sauce, I like onion but not that much. Service was great but not happy with the food. Probably won’t be going back.

Great sichuan food, large potion sizes, especially if you order off the authentic side of the menu.

Hot and sour soup was some of the best I’ve ever had! All the food was delicious. the green beans are outstanding, very garlicky and spicy and perfectly cooked. Large portions makes it very economical. waitress was super friendly

I was very impressed. The restaurant is clean, cute, and their staff was friendly. Their online order process was quick and painless, they’re very efficient in getting the orders out too. I ordered the Hot and Sour Soup and veggie rolls, they were amazing. Probably the best Hot and Sour soup I’ve ever had, their crispy wonton chips were the cherry on top. I’ll definitely be back to try other menu items.

Our favorite Asian takeout restaurant in Austin! Their orange chicken and general’s chicken are really good and so are their noodles. We usually have only done take out with them (starting during the pandemic) but recently dined in and their staff was really friendly and we enjoyed the experience.

Empty plates and bowls show how good these dishes are! HIGHLY recommend the eggplant with minced beef, beef in chili oil, and the salt and pepper tofu (if the chef is offering it). HINT: The back page is the good stuff.

Don’t judge a book by its cover. Driven past this spot a million times and wondered how it stayed open. Then a friend from China recommended it. Man was I blown away. Walk in tue door and you are transported to a vibrant space with art and culture everywhere, a traditional and contemporary menu, and the flavors are so on point. Way better than Wu Chow IMO and a lot cheaper with free parking. We can’t wait to go back and try something else. All I think about are the greenbeans lol.
