We recently came here for a quick lunch. We tried a lamb dish and chilli beef.
Both were very tasty. The sight of pieces of chilli can be scary. But we could easily separate the beef from the chilli.
We enjoyed the food. Service was good and staff friendly.
We hope to be back.

I feel lucky to live nearby this place. The food here is very consistent and great. I usually get the mapo tofu but the griddle cooked beef is my new favorite item. The portions are large and easily enough for two to split. The woman who runs the front of the house is very nice and helpful. A lot of folks get takeout from here which makes getting a table pretty easy and convenient.

Place was very clean and well kept. We were seated almost immediately and the young lady working there was so kind and diligent. Once our order was placed, they would bring out the dishes one by one and it was easy to tell that everything was freshly made. A lot of the dishes were authentic, and although I’m not too knowledgeable on most of them, it was nice to pick out some new things to try.

A lot of new flavors I wasn’t used to but definitely worth trying out. I am absolutely coming back here to check out more of their dishes. If you want to play it safe, they also have items like tempura shrimp or orange chicken, but you’d be missing out if you don’t try their specials.

We live nearby but did not even realize this restaurant was here until we were looking at the map for a place to order take out from.
I ordered online and our food was done super-fast – I got the text saying it was ready 10 min after ordering. They packaged the food in a cute thermal bag and it was piping hot when we got it home! The amount of food was huge – definitely enough for two meals (yummy leftovers!).
We will definitely order from here again!

Found a hidden gem in Austin’s food scene! Chinese food that is so authentic and fresh, great ambience and decor, perfect for coming alone or with a big group. I loved hearing Mandarin spoken by the staff, and Chinese songs playing the background.

A really pleasant dine-in experience. Pricing and portions are just right. As a vegan, I appreciated my options.

Excellent all around. Looking forward to coming again soon!

Update- 2nd visit. No service. Insufficient staff. Sat down for 10 minutes, no service at all, only server overwhelmed with go orders. Left.

First time visit. Was pleasantly surprised
by the quality and authenticity of the Chinese dishes. The restaurant is open, clean, and not full of clutter like a typical hole-in-wall Chinese restaurant. This is a place I would be comfortable bringing friends and family.

Not for the faint of heart. The Chongqing Spicy Chicken was amazing. However it is extremely hot spicy. The crab rangoon was good. My go to meal is usually Sichuan Beef on iron plate, but I wanted to try something new and was pleasantly surprised.

Didn’t even realize there is one location. Just casually stopping by for dinner with my friends, food was amazing so affordable too. Chongqing Chicken was especially good, not dry at all.

One of few spots in Austin where you can get authentic Chinese food. The service is also great. I recently had them cater for a group and was pretty nervous because one guest has a deathly peanut allergy. If you know Chinese food, you know how hard (and rare) it is to find a kitchen that can actually guarantee no cross-contamination. I called ahead to flag it, and they were one of the only places willing and able to accommodate us safely.
It’s rare to find a place this legit that also stays on top of the details like that. Definitely a go-to spot!

Soooo iconic! This is the quintessential take out spot you can fantasize about eating while watching a movie in bed after a hard day.
The green bean and eggplant dish was insanely delicious and the General Tso’s chicken was on point!!
My friend told me the portions are huge here, but when I saw it in person I still gasped, it literally made my day to get like 5 pounds of food.
10/10, will be ordering again soon!
