Horrible. The rice is stale. No white rice it’s stale covered in soy sauce. The beef that comes with the broccoli is suspect. The oil they cooked it in is also stale. The restaurant itself presents as stale. Surprisingly the Spring rolls were very good, but that’s about it.

If I could leave a review without having to put a star I most definitely would have done that.. first of all she going to say they don’t take cards as payment cash only and then going to tell me that I took longer than 10 minutes to come pick up my order..long as I came to get my order do it even really matter…but I most definitely will never order from there again cause she definitely don’t have no customer service skills

Maybe I have been spoiled but this food wasn’t amazing. Virginia isn’t capable of good Chinese food but if I had to I would eat this over the others. I would. The crab Rangoon I ate had a cottage cheese in the center look except it was warm. Wasn’t impressive. The general tso chicken was soggy and Also not impressive along with the bland “fried rice” .the best thing in that whole platter was the sweet and sour chicken without the dipping sauce. I completely was baffled that they only take cash which is fine so you could have an excuse not to have to experience this to your taste buds. Virginia step your game up.

I would only suggest you visit China Express if you like mediocre chinese food. The food is alright and relatively inexpensive, but you get what you pay for and sometimes less… Depending on the day, the kids that help run their business are quite rude. The cash only issue is outdated and they should let you know over the phone when you call an order in. My recommendation is do not waste your time or money and go to Great Wall!!

Most horrible Chinese restaurant experience that I ever had! I called in my order and they gave me the time to pick up and the total but got mad at me because their sign says cash only BUT I CALLED IN MY ORDER! Then the cashier started bad mouthing me in Chinese and I’m familiar with the language. They were cooking without gloves anyway so they’ll never touch my money. I recommend Great Wall. I normally order from them but they were busy. Do not shop with China Express! They are unsanitary and rude!

Mom wanted to eat here. Ordered shrimp egg fo yung. Food was gritty like someone shook their shoe over the food. Disgusting. Should have known food was nasty because from the front door through the kitchen to the rear doorr it was filthy. Health Department needs to step in.

Lady that ran it retired, new kids are not doing well. First time they charged us more than usual then gave u the wrong order. The second time hubby went the price had almost doubled to $42 for 3 meals. He asked to see the receipt which stated the total was $36 not $42!! Very crooked! We will no longer go here. Went to courtland and the food is better!!!

I was pretty disappointed with the service I was rendered. I called to place an order. It felt like I called a household. There was no professional greeting with the restaurant name. I had to ask if it was China Express. The young lady on the phone sounded as if she had an attitude. I had to ask for my total and was not informed about the “cash only” policy. I went to pick up my order to discover that I needed to leave and go to an ATM. . The teenager at the counter seemed very irritated and did not offer good customer service at all! I will not be returning here. The food was ok but definitely not good enough to accept poor customer service.
