China Express is easily one of the best Chinese takeout spots in Fort Worth! The food is fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly that you can taste the quality in every dish. The orange chicken is crispy and full of flavor, the fried rice is perfectly seasoned, and the lo mein is delicious every single time. The service is amazing too. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and always gets your order ready quickly and accurately.

The portion sizes are unreal. They literally pile up the food until it barely fits in the box! You get so much for your money, and the prices are unbeatable for the amount and quality you receive. Most meals are big enough to share or save for later, making it an incredible value. If you’re craving Chinese food that’s tasty, affordable, and served with a smile, China Express should be at the very top of your list. Once you try it, you’ll definitely keep coming back!

This location stands out for its value and generous portions. Customers frequently praise the affordability, with a popular takeout box often priced around $11–$12, packed so full it’s sometimes stapled shut. The menu features classic American-Chinese dishes like fried rice, honey chicken, sweet and sour chicken, and egg rolls. The atmosphere is casual, but the quick service and friendly staff keep people coming back. It’s a go-to for locals craving a fast, filling meal, especially for takeout. They’re open late (until 9:30 PM or 10:30 PM depending on the day) and even busy on holidays like Christmas, showing their reliability.

Not the best but not the worst. They get 5 stars for customer service and portions. I have ordered from this location twice. On each visit a few chicken pieces were cooked well, some were tough. The sauces are flavorful! However, the lo mein gets a rating of 2 and fried rice 3. I will go back for the honey chicken. Many fast-food Chinese restaurants don’t have it on their menu. Overall, I’ll give this place a solid 4. I love great customer service, a clean establishment, and good food. Hopefully, next time the consistency of the chicken will be the same throughout.

Food was amazing. Portion are huge for the price always a plus. Don’t get me wrong place is a hole in the wall (usually the best spots ). My only reason for 4 stars and not five. Is I can’t 100% say this place is clean maybe just me but still great spot to eat and great price.

The good first. The service was great. The restaurant was clean. I ate here two times. First time I get beef and broccoli with fried rice. Rice was ok, the beef and broccoli was bland and taste weird to me. No seasoning at all. Second time I tried the orange chicken with fried rice. The chicken really tasted weird and had no seasoning at all. I could not finish the meal. I finished the rice and throw the rest away. I will not be going here again. I agree with others. You get a lot of food for the price, but it is not good.

Amazing! My husband and I tried it last night. We are both from the East Coast and have been in TX for the last 2 years. We were starting to give up on finding a good Chinese food restaurant here, thankfully we stumbled on this place. Portions are PLENTIFUL, and flavor is AMAZING! It’s not East Coast Chinese however it’s our new Go to spot. Definitely going again. And the price was great we both ate and had leftovers for $24.

Food was as good as American Chinese gets. The fried rice in a plate is flavorful unlike many where it’s like steamed rice with soy sauce added. Portions are GIANT! Get a 2 meat plate for lunch and dinner and for a decent price. Can’t beat that!

Usually I never had a problem for over a year that I was coming here, Was almost finished but just now I bit into some kind of piece of sharp metal in my teriyaki chicken (it hurt). I am hoping there weren’t other pieces that made it past me unnoticed. Will not come back here ever again.

UPDATE:

After almost a year since finding that metal mesh piece in my food, I gave this place another shot, and after working for years gaining experience in the food industry, I quickly realized they have some kind of issue with ingredient quality, and most of all, CLEANINESS. Those who care more about quantity over quality may not catch on as quick, but this seems to be consistently the case. It’s a shame, because if they improved on this, they could be mind blowing.
