I was not familiar with this place but my family was craving for real Chinese food! I checked good places near and decided to try China Express. To be honest when I parked in the front I was skeptical but follow my willingness to discover new places but when I got in and received by a very kind staff and felt the yummy smell from the kitchen I thought it was going to be good! I ordered fried rice, noodle soup, general tso chicken and some house lo mein, it was extremely delicious! Food quality is top and service was simply amazing! This is a hidden gem in Tysons and definitely will come back! Superb!

This is a carry out place and not a sit down restaurant. Located all the way behind the second building in the commercial center. The food is consistently good quality, and I think I may have found the best tasting mapo tofu yet.

I ordered through Door Dash so I have no problem with the service or atmosphere. My issue was the food. The chicken had flavor but it wasn’t thoroughly cooked. The combination lo Mein lacked flavor. Even in the meat. I would have added a little soy sauce to see if I could spruce it up but no condiments were provided (I could if sworn I marked this and utensils on the app).
Nevertheless, my search for good Chinese food continues.

Great to go Chinese food options. They are featured on uber eats but I recommend ordering via their website then do pick up to save some $. Service and food are always consistent

Ordered late night local delivery. Came super hot, fresh, delicious. Great reasonable price for value, lots of meat and vegetables, they did not skimp. Tastes great, I would definitely make this my local Chinese takeout place!

Food was not as good this time. The chicken pieces in General Tsao were soggy (not freshly fried) and the fried tofu pieces were a mix of two different sizes, so thinner ones were harder and thicker ones were thicker. Food was much better previous time we ordered so we were a bit disappointed.

Ordered general tsao’s chicken, mapo tofu and chicken & broccoli. The portion sizes were great, you could tell it was freshly made and everything was really tasty. Highly recommend! It’s a bit hidden and you have to go around a building to get there but it’s worth it.

I ordered for the first time for my family Christmas Eve dinner. There were nine of us and we absolutely loved every single dish we ordered, without exception. What a delightful surprise! The only negative was that the food was delivered 30 minutes before my requested delivery time. Once we tasted the food, however, we stopped worrying about it being too early.

It appears there may have been a recent change in ownership or management at this establishment, as the quality of the food has noticeably declined. An order placed for Sunday afternoon was particularly disappointing. The Szechuan crispy beef, a dish typically characterized by its spicy and savory notes, was excessively sweet, this applied to Szechuan chicken as well. Furthermore, the order for General Tso’s chicken was incorrectly fulfilled with another sugar filled orange chicken. I would think the chef sees order and can see the order could not have three sweet orders…perhaps chef wanted to leave.
This inconsistency in food quality has been observed for some time, suggesting a potential shift in culinary standards. Given the recent experience, it may be prudent to explore alternative Chinese takeout options that consistently meet expectations.
