This is quite an old school Chinese place, but unfortunately the food here is really not that great.

First and last time getting their food. The cartons were not full and were mostly gravy and almost no meat. Asked for brown rice clearly. Got bad plain mushy fried rice which was rice cooked with soy sauce. Szechuan chicken was so sweet, no spice and the hong sue yook was not as advertised either and carton not filled. Very overpriced for bad, low quality food. Please avoid this place if you value your money and stomach.

Went here recently. The exterior definitely needs work, looks the same as it did in the 90’s, or maybe 80’s.
The food was ok. Tastes like the wok is well seasoned, but not in a particularly good way. The fried rice leaves something to be desired both for the portion size you get, and for what’s in it. Very mushy. The shrimp was pretty good. The low mein wasn’t very good.
Oddly, the wife and I were the only ones there on a weekend during what should have been rush time. Nobody else came in. They never seem to have any cars in their lot. Somehow, there’s always a tesla parked there.

The food is always consistantly good, however, the rude Hostess with the messy blonde hair and “better than thou” attitude, that threw my menu at me without even a hello or a smile needs to find a job that doesn’t require customer contact.
She needs to go dig graves..

Family owned business. Amazing tasting food. Good clean atmosphere. If there is a specific way you want a meal, you will get it. I have been coming to this restaurant since before ‘leaving reviews’ were a thing. I will always go back for more.

The restaurant was immaculate. The bathrooms were immaculate. The food portion was huge! The sweet and sour pork was a little over fried. I’m sure it was a fluke. My moo goo gia pan was excellent. Large cup of egg drop soup. I would say it was more like a bowl. The service was excellent. The music was very comforting while you’re dinning.

Tastes just like the old Phoenix Palace in BG. Hot and Sour soup is amazing. Emperor Chicken has large pieces of chicken in it. Everyone’s meals were amazing today. Will make the drive from BG for their food!

Please looks like a small family owned restaurant no issue there what so ever. My wife and I waited 30 minutes for our food, pop tasted as if it were diluted with tap water I don’t know what foe sure but had a really off taste. Both of our meals had 75% vegetables 20% sauce 5% Chicken. Would not return here of it was free

ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!!! Worst experience there ever. We were in the back room, half of the tables were dirty and stayed like that the whole time we were there. The steaks we’re not cooked as ordered and had a terrible taste, the fries were chewy and tasted bad. The appetizer came out with the food. A sign at the door said 15 percent gratituity MAY be charged for 6 or more….. We had 5 and was charged. We were there for over an hour and drinks were not refilled once. And all the waitresses we’re very rude. Laughed at the fact the food was not done. Definitely WILL NOT return!!!!

Excellent food every time. Their hot & sour soup is the best I’ve ever had. Menu options include a decent vegetarian section. All their food is handmade there, even down to the egg rolls and chicken fingers. The owner is friendly and thoughtful. And lastly the decor. Hollywood could use this place as inspiration for scenes for Chinese restaurants, it is so classic. I love over the top decorations in Chinese restaurants and this place has it all.
