I’ve always liked China Dragon. The food is solid (at least the few things I’ve gotten over the years). The staff is very hardworking. Place gets busy every now and again but usually I pick up my food after about 20 mins. Good all-around place.

The food there is a 1/2 star at best. Very dry tasting, rice was crunchy, and the food is overly priced for the amount they give you. Would NOT recommend this restaurant.

I just gave China Dragon another chance and have to say I was very disappointed. The food was barely edible. I ordered 2 beef and broccoli combo platters with Lo mien and egg roll. The egg rolls were over cooked, the lo mien had so much pepper that I threw it out and the beef and broccoli should have been called broccoli and broccoli. I will not give this place another chance.

This place is a small jewel. I have gone there quite a few times in recent months and found their food to be excellent for a small takeout establishment. Their chicken with mixed vegetables (combination plate) is outstanding along with the appetizer chicken fingers.

Our new “go to” for Chinese food. Excellent food and service for takeout. Great portions and friendly staff. Easy in and out and we are never disappointed there. Couldn’t find a good Chinese Restaurant in Hamden so we go here now.

Went here after seeing the reviews online, but was disappointed. Your staple Chinese food dishes need to be good, but the pork fried rice was flavorless and the boneless spare ribs were hard. The dumplings were good though, not enough to make up for the rest.
