I read a bunch of reviews before deciding to eat here; there’s a lot of mixed reviews and some of them had me a little nervous so here’s a sincere one. First and foremost, amazing customer service! I ordered the Garlic Chicken & Green beans, Orange Chicken, and Chicken Chowmein (pictured), huge amount of food for $10.50. This is at least 3 or more meals for me personally, you could easily split this between 2 people comfortably. Is this kinda like Panda Express? Yes, but priced better, and in my opinion less greasy. Is the orange chicken like Panda Express orange chicken? No, but it’s still good orange chicken – eat it fresh because it’s not going to microwave well later (The garlic chicken and green beans, and chowmein does reheat well!). You can sit down to eat here, it’s nothing extravagant but nothing about it seemed unsanitary or gross like some of the other reviews suggested, just looks like an older building. I will definitely be back to try more dishes, everything so far has had great flavor, served hot, big portions, tastes fresh, great customer service, family owned – what’s not to like? This is better quality than any fast food restaurant, I think the negative reviews maybe had too high of standards for a place that’s somewhat comparable to Panda Express, but better.

One of my favorite little discoveries. The employees are very welcoming and personable. Food quantity is great for the price; $14 for a big heap of orange chicken and BBQ pork with lo mein. It was absolutely delicious. The photo I attached is after I ate a good portion too. I highly recommend the China Doll!

It’s been many years since I lived in the area & went there.. last time just passing thru was around 2 yrs ago.. Went today with my husband & was so happy it was still there But the food was awful.. I don’t think the chicken was done.. got teriyaki absolutely no flavor. The chicken was pink & fatty, the egg roll I got was big but fell apart with mainly cabbage & soggy grease filled outter.. I was extremely disappointed tbat what would have been left overs later was tossed in the garbage.. I can’t even start on how DIRTY the place is…. don’t use the Bathrooms especially!!! Where is the health inspector???!!

The portion is larger than other Chinese fast food. Food tastes not bad. Just feels it is too salty for the garlic chicken with green bean. Do not recommend it. The order also comes with a little soup, which tastes not bad! The service is fine.
The only thing that makes me feel uncomfortable is the cooker grabbed the ingredients with his bare hands. He didn’t wear gloves when touching the food. Cleanness could be better.

Definitely a quick place to get Chinese food. Is the quality of the food here great? Does it taste fresh or healthy? Not particularly, but it’s definitely fast and they serve large portions, making it a good deal overall. The place is pretty barren and not the cleanest, but it fits the overall vibe for a casual Chinese restaurant. They have a lot of options for proteins, but the sauces are hit or miss. The lo mein was pretty average, but I did like the sweet and sour chicken. I’d personally rather go to a sit-down restaurant, but I do appreciate what this place brings to the table by giving customers quick and easy meals.

I want to say customer service that treats you like family but there is the next problem, after noticing how dirty the place was and my order of $65 that included a 25% tip we were served some the most driest meat, rice that looks like it had gone through the dishwasher and been recollected for use as “food”, and a drink filling station that looked so disorganized that it looked like they pulled lids that the had sitting at the back of it for so long that had food particulate pieces on it or whatever you want to call food. The reason why I’m frustrated was when we made notice to the owner when he asked how our food was I politely and a little bit bluntly told him there was definitely room for improvement, but I appreciated his hospitality and care, but the food was just completely unacceptable. He said he would do a partial refund, but at this point I started getting sick from the food that I had been served and we decided to go. I waited for about a week to see if he returned any of our funds and instead they took all of it. We work hard for our money and honestly at that time we were strapped for money and we basically had to throw away the food. My kids ended up getting sick and we ended up missing work because of it as well. My poor kids thanking the man for his food become sick because of the lack of care and health practices in this establishment for food safety.

The pictures do NOT do justice to how amazing the food is. I AM SO HAPPY! The portions are huge and they cooked my pepper chicken to order and it tastes SPECTACULAR. Sweet and sour sauce made me very happy it is too good. I am so in love with China Doll restaurant. I will definitely be coming back every chance I get.
